Maclan Racing Graphene V2 LiHV battery packs

Maclan Racing have introduced their new Race Formula Graphene V2 LiPo battery packs in the latest 2019 chemistry. Maclan took their 2018 design and pushed performance to the next level with lower internal resistance, stronger run-time voltages, and more usable capacity. The 7.6V LiHV batteries are built using 5mm connectors, they are 10C chargeable and are available in all popular configurations, including standard stock and shorty, for both on-road and off-road applications.

32nd Annual Electric Winter Midwest Champs – Report

One of the longest running races in RC history, the legendary Winter Midwest Championships is now in its 32nd edition and still going strong as entries nearly hit 400 this year to kick off the 2019 indoor racing season from Jeffersonville, Ohio. There was something special about this year’s event as you could feel the excitement in the air that made this year a little bit different than years past. Silly Season perhaps?! Many were anxious to hit the track and show off for their new sponsors and make a name for themselves and there’s no better way than to have an awesome outing at the legendary CRCRC. This year’s layout was a blast, pure and simple. The track dimensions cater to a long fast straightaway, but this layout featured a front straightaway that had a really technical triple, triple section. Truthfully, it tested everyone’s jump timing … including the pros.

2019 Super Cup Championship Series Rd1 – Report

Heading into its 11th year, the 2019 Super Cup started off with some great racing, great people and successful return to SS Hobbies & Raceway. The 2019 season kicked off on Saturday, with new announcer, Dave Duncan. Ronnie Setser and his crew at SS Hobbies always goes out of their way to offer the best track layout and conditions and this weekend was no different. A great new layout and perfect conditions along with amazing Florida Winter weather, even after a late start, due to some decoder box issues, everyone seemed to have a great time. The big boys would be up in 2WD Buggy Modified. Lee Setser would set TQ for the day and the top 3 in Mod Buggy would finish where they started, tone to tone. It was Lee Setser in 1st, Daimon Borkowicz in 2nd followed by Jason Ruona in 3rd.

JConcepts 2019 INS & NCTS – Announcement

JConcepts have announced the Indoor National Series and National Carpet & Turf Series race dates and details for 2019. After eight established seasons, the INS has attracted over 12,000 entries with the goal of bringing the best RC racing experiences to the masses. New to the 2019 season, JConcepts recognizes the growing popularity of carpet and astroturf racing around the US and has partnered up with some amazing tracks to bring you an all new carpet/astro racing experience called the 2019 JConcepts National Carpet/Turf Series. JConcept’s primary goal is to bring the best racing experience to all racers no matter the skill level, but also to promote and grow the hobby by focusing on various aspects of the RC racing experience. 2019 Jake’s RC Pro-AM Showdown – Announcement

Jake’s RC Pro-AM of Topeka, Kansas will be holding their 8th annual Pro-AM Showdown from March 1st to 3rd. The dirt off-road race expects 200+ entries for the various Modified and Stock Buggy, Stadium Truck and SC Truck classes with Friday being a full day of practice followed by four rounds of qualifying on Saturday and single main events on Sunday. Highest B200 & B210 brushless servos

Korean company Highest has introduced two new servos in the form of the B200 and B210 standard size brushless high-voltage servos. Both are housed in an all-aluminium case, they sport highly efficient brushless motors, full metal gear trains and black receiver wires for a professional look. The B200 is capable of up to 26.1kg-cm of torque and a speed of down to 0.08s while the B210 pulls up to 31.1kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.09s.

Muchmore Diff Analyzer

Muchmore have introduced their new Diff Analyzer device, a tool to measure the hardness of gear and ball differentials. The handy tool is powered by any regular USB output and it was designed to measure the hardness of 1/8th, 1/10th and 1/12th scale diffs by simply connecting the device with the diff outdrive or diff hub, locking the main or diff gear and then hitting the analyzer’s power button. The 5 digit high precision display displays the diff hardness, allowing to measure and compare hardnesses to ensure the most accurate diff action. The device measures 86x38x28.5mm, it weighs in at 84.3g and it requires an additional micro 5-pin USB cable for operation.
