3Racing introduce the Cactus 2WD racing buggy kit. Developed from the ground up over the course of 18 month the buggy is based on a long wheelbase composite chassis that sports wire routing tunnels and a battery mount for both straight and shorty LiPo battery packs. The front end of the buggy is made from a lightweight composite plastic construction with aluminium pivot pin brace and multiple mounting points for the camber rods and shocks while the rear end houses the convertible gear box. The buggy can be build as 3-gear rear motor or 4-gear mid motor variant straight out of the box, it comes with a heavy-duty slipper clutch and widely adjustable suspension parts to alter rear toe-in and anti-squat setting. Included in the kit are also 12.5mm big bore aluminium shock absorbers, 12mm wheel hex adapters, a carbon fibre ESC mounting plate and a cab forward body shell along a large rear wing.

3 Racing Sakura Ultimate touring car kit

3 Racing introduce their forthcoming Sakura Ultimate 1/10th electric touring car kit. Designed to replace the Sakura XI and XI DH the kit includes many newly designed parts and incorporates a vast amount of improvements to refine the suspension geometry, chassis flex and weight distribution while making for a better to work on car that requires less maintenance. The features list includes new front and rear A-arms with revised geometry, a new steering system with improved Ackermann geometry, a redesigned motor mount for a wider range of gearing options for both modified and stock motors, new centre belt pulleys and belts, as well as a floating steering servo mount beside many other refinements. The kit is due to hit the stores in August.

3Racing F113 formula kit

3Racing introduce the F113, a redesigned 1/10th kit for the growing formula 1 class. The car features an innovative double wishbone front suspension with through shaft oil-filled shocks, fully adjustable geometry, 7075 aluminium bulkheads and PTFE-coated ball studs. The rear suspension assembly comes with a height adjustable 1/4″ rear axle, link-type power pod design, through shaft roll damper, high volume centre shock and a redesigned impact resistant wing. The pan car is based on a 2.5mm carbon fibre chassis with 2.0mm upper deck and specially designed servo mount for standard and low-profile steering servos. Also included are fastening solutions for standard and ‘shorty’ battery packs. Coming with a clear formula body shell and polycarbonate front wing the kit is available now.

Exotek FGX IFS adapter set & front hubs

Exotek Racing have produced some new parts for 3Racing FGX and their Exotek EFX chassis set. First up is the IFS adapter mounting plates for the Exotek EFX v1 and v2. Simple, lightweight yet heavy duty design, it includes alloy mounting plates for the rockers and dampeners and optional 3Racing sway bars. Next up is the heavy duty alloy front hub set with oversized bearings for the FGX. The set includes larger 10x5x3 (2) and 9x5x3 (2) bearings and are supported by stainless steel crush sleeves that are also included. Also on the hubs are an additional ackerman hole in the outer position. A direct bolt on for either the standard FGX or IFS front suspension.

Sakura 54mm PTFE coated shocks

3Racing have released their new Sakura 54mm touring car shock which has been given a complete overhaul in terms of design and materials used. Can be used on most high performance touring cars thanks to the long 11mm shaft stroke, the new 7075 hardened aircraft grade aluminium shock body complete with PTFE coating gives the shock body the smoothest operation and superior durability. The newly designed shock cap now includes a bleeder hole for easier release of excessive shock fluids while the spring preload adjuster has been given a hex shape instead of the usual round shape for easier grip. The pistons and shaft liners have been upgraded to CNC machined POM for the best fit and durability and complimented with titanium nitrite coated shock shafts for the smoothest stroke actions.

Exotek FGX aluminium option parts

Exotek Racing introduce two new option parts for 3 Racing’s FGX formula chassis. Available are a rear inner camber mount link and a rear alloy hub set. Starting with the inner camber link mount the set includes a CNC-machined mount and longer turnbuckles making for improved camber gain. The parts also allow for an adjustable roll centre by using spacer to raise or lower the mount. The second new part is the alloy rear hub set that features two vertical ball stud locations. The design allows for adjusting the camber link length to alter camber gain performance. Included are two black anodised rear hubs.

HKS Hobby FGX F1 chassis conversion

HKS Hobby has released a new conversion for the FGX F1 chassis. It feature a 2.5mm carbon chassis and 2.0mm carbon upperdeck, as well as carbon upper rear arms. The chassis has a different battery mounting position for better weight distribution and combines the use of the Tamiya F104/F103 front end with the independent rear suspension of the FGX. The result is a very durable and stable F1 chassis that can perform on many different kinds of surface.
