ARC have introduced their new bulkhead alignment tool specially designed for the needs of the R11 touring car. Using the tool will ensure a fully parallel front and rear bulkhead assembly with the result being reduced chassis tweak end lower natural drivetrain drag to do eliminating friction of the transmission axles. Included in the set are the CNC-machined alloy bulkhead block as well as two steel shafts.
Coming from ARC is a new slot-less 3mm carbon fibre main chassis plate for the R8S 1/8th on-road kit. The chassis has the battery adjustment slots removed, making it less flexible and also more durable in the event of a crash.

Coming from ARC Nitro Italy is a new lightweight 2-speed gearbox for the ARC R8.0 and R8.1. Smaller in size than the original assembly the gearbox is also 10g lighter thanks to updated shapes and materials, it comes with harder springs and a reinforced 2nd gear bell. The results on the track are improved engine response especially in low RPM ranges, better acceleration and more precise gear shafts. In addition the gearbox is also more consistent over the course of a run, even in long mains, in high grip or high temperature conditions. The gearbox is a direct fit for both the R8.0 and R8.1.
Vigor RC have introduced their new bulkhead alignment blocks for some of the most popular 1/10th scale electric touring cars. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming black anodised the blocks are inserted between the left and right bulkhead and help to get them straight when fastening the bulkhead screws. The result is a perfectly parallel bulkhead assembly that prevents chassis tweak while ensuring less stress on the spool and differential bearings. The blocks are available as 18mm/22mm variant for the Yokomo BD8 and BD9, as 19mm/23mm variant for Xray T4 and Awesomatix A800 cars and also as 18mm/20mm block for Yokomo BD9, ARC R11, Infinity IF14 and Mugen MTC1 kit.
Following a first teaser ARC have officially introduced the 2019 variant of their popular R11 4WD electric touring car. The car features several updates such as the lower bulkheads that sport a new, lower mounting position for the ball-raced anti-roll bars in order to lower the overall centre of gravity. They also make way for the new front bumper mount whose updated design, with 6mm more inward positioned body mounts, reduces scrubbing during hard cornering for increased steering. The front end is rounded out by a new front bumper foam.
Vigor RC have introduced their new flex main chassis and 2.0mm new design top deck for the ARC R11 2018 electric touring car. The 84mm wide chassis made of 2.25mm carbon fibre was designed to increase torsional flex which can be beneficial especially on lower grip surfaces. Also new is the 9mm wide top deck made of 2.0mm carbon material. The new style top deck helps to fine-tune overall chassis flex for a wider range of conditions.
Coming mid-October is ARC’s latest incarnation of the popular R11 electric touring car kit. The 2019 variant will features several improvements such as all-new lower bulkheads, a new front bumper, new composite 20T centre pulleys, revised steering blocks, new rear uprights, new ultra short shock absorbers and floating receiver and ESC mounting. New from Vigor are these 3.0mm thick lowered shock towers for the ARC R11. The new towers are made from thinner 3mm carbon fibre, compared to the standard 3.5mm material, for increased torsional flex and so improved traction on lower bite surfaces. The front tower has been lowered by 1.0mm and and rear by 2.5mm which they claim gives the car more grip and better response. Works with the original plastic short shock ends, all parts are a direct fit.
