New from Italian company Capricorn is this kevlar pulley set for their LAB-C01 200mm chassis. These low friction pulleys provide better and smoother rotation of the drivetrain and are available for all pulleys except for the rear axle. Also new from Capricorn is their droop blocks and matching droop gauge, as well as a new ride height gauge which has values in 0.5mm increments.
New for the LAB-C01, Capricorn have released this new mono o-ring update for the car’s shock absorbers. Consisting of a single o-ring and a delrin cup, this new setup ensures almost zero shaft friction due to the reduced contact between the moving parts. Available now in a package of 4, suitable for a complete set of shocks.

New from Capricorn RC for their LAB-C01 1/10th 200mm chassis are these softer material suspension parts. The new material helps ensure better traction and handling and the parts will eventually make their way into the kit but for now are available separately. Available from Monday, the new parts include front and rear lower and upper wishbones as well as the rear uprights and front steering blocks.

Italian company Capricorn RC have announced that top Belgian driver Jerome Renaux has signed a deal to be part of their team. The European 200mm Championship direct qualifier will use Capricorn’s full range of optional parts on his Xray NT1 for the 2010 season as he competes at this year’s World and European Championships.

Capricorn RC have sent us some information on their new Novarossi based LAB-E01 .12 engine. Following the good performance by team driver Chris Tosolini at the Worlds warmup, where he TQ’d the event using this engine, the Italian company has pushed ahead to make this new motor available shortly. It will feature a new innovative under head design and this standard version will be followed up by a hard tuned version for maximum performance.

Capricorn RC have announced that front running Italian touring car racer Niki Duina has joined their team for 2010. The former Xray driver will race the company’s new LAB-C01 chassis which has been proving quite competitive in the hands of new team mate Chris Tosolini, and will compete in the Italian Nationals together with this year’s World Championship in Houston, Texas.

Capricorn have announced that current 1/10th 200m World Champion Daniele Ielasi has chosen to use Carpicorn Fuel for the 2010 season. Expanding their partnership which has already been in place for a number of years, with Ielasi winning his World title with a Carpricorn modified Kyosho, the Shepherd/IDM driver is hoping this already successful partnership will yield more victories this year with two European titles on offer as well as the defense of his World Champion crown this summer in Houston, Texas.

Following the success of the new NT1 WC edition clutch at the 200mm Pre Worlds, where it was used by Ralph Burch, Capricorn RC have announced the availability of this product. Supplied with the new 0.9 gram lighter clutch bell, it is able to fit the originals Xray pinion gears. The set also includes an extra light spring stay, 2 red shoes, 2 thrust bearings and 2 full sets of ball bearings. Capricorn also released their newly homologated EFRA 2662 muffler, which offer increased performance on the Q12 engine and especially with the new Novarossi based Capricorn engine line that is coming soon.
