Maclan Racing MRR Team Edition brushless motors

Maclan Racing MRR Team Edition brushless motors

Maclan Racing have introduced the MRR Team Edition electric brushless motors. Based on the popular MRR platform the Team Edition utilises Japanese made steel stator material for the short stack style rotors. Custom-made copper wire also has a higher temperature threshold along with maximum diameter allowed by ROAR regulations. Overall the Team Edition has an average four percent lower internal resistance compared to the standard MRR series motors. Also part of the TE package are all-new hall sensors that are more accurate while offering a much higher speed polling rate which will provide quicker throttle response with higher top speeds. The hand-built motors will become available by late November.

Maclan Racing MMax Pro competition brushless ESC

Maclan Racing MMax Pro competition brushless ESC

Coming from Maclan Racing is the new MMax Pro 160A competition brushless speed controller. Developed from the ground up over the last 18 month the speedo utilises an ultra-high performance 32-bit CPU as its central processing brain and compared to the last generation 8-bit CPUs, the 32-bit CPU in the MMax Pro ESC runs at much higher clock speed and bandwidth. The speedo utilises a completely redesigned all-new algorithm firmware to maximise its strength while offering the smoothest throttle and the strongest yet precise braking. The controller offers 12 pre-loaded profiles for all on-road and off-road applications including Stock blinky and low-turn Modified racing. All parameters are adjustable using the on-board USB port and Maclan’s MS Windows-compatible software. Other features include a full aluminium case for improved cooling, it comes with a high-voltage 30mm turbo fan, adjustable 6V to 7.4V high-voltage BEC system and data logging capability. The controller will hit the stores by end of October.

Maclan Racing full aluminium parts tray

Maclan Racing full aluminium parts tray

Maclan Racing have released a new addition to their racing accessory line in the form of the all-new magnetic parts tray. It is made using high-quality 6061 aluminium alloy and with the magnetic base the parts tray is able to keep small metal parts on it securely. The built-in metric and standard measuring scale offers an easy way to measure the length of screws while a transparent acrylic cover ensures an easy and secure transportation when small parts were on the tray. On top of this the curve-shaped pockets allows to pick up small parts with an ease.

Maclan Racing MRR competition brushless motors

Maclan Racing MRR competition brushless motors

Maclan Racing have introduced their all-new MRR 540-size sensored competition brushless motors. They are built using pure copper wire and feature a balanced sintered rotor, adjustable timing, a lightweight, vented CNC-machined 6061 all-aluminium can and precision ball bearings. The spec class MRR motor is designed to the maximum tolerance of the rules and the short stack design will produce a lower resistance allowing the highest performance possible. The motors utilise heavy-duty concave-shape soldering taps for easy wiring and they are available in 3.5T to 25.5T variants from March.

Maclan Racing MR4 4-pole brushless motors

Maclan Racing MR4 4-pole brushless motors

Maclan Racing have announced the forthcoming release of their MR4 series motors. The sensored MR4 was specifically design for 4WD SCT racing and it will come with two KV options for different track conditions. Each features a custom stator for the respective KV option to deliver a much higher performance value. The 3500KV was designed for smaller indoor tracks that has more technical turns and excels when that quick burst of power is neeed. The high torque design of the 3500KV MR4 will provide the power to clear all types of jumps without hesitation. The 4150KV was designed for all around conditions. The higher KV and specially designed stator provides super smooth throttle feel and high top speeds.
