New for the Mugen MRX-5 1/8th scale chassis, Arrowmax have released these front CVD wheel axles. Available in three different types of material, you can get them in 7075 aluminium, spring steel and titanium for a choice of lightweight, durable and a combination of both.

Continuing their release of Mugen MRX-5 parts, Arrowmax have release this one piece engine mount. Machined from a single piece of aluminum, the one piece design ensures that the engine is not tweaked when mounting which can affect performance. Also the mount offers more surface area to dissipate heat from the engine.

Following the success of the Roche ceramic range of bearings for electric cars, the company have now released ceramic bearings for the Serpent 733 and Mugen MTX-4R. The ceramic ball are made from pure Silicon Nitride material which is extremely dense. 60% lighter in weight and 7 times harder than steel, friction is reduced to near zero meaning your car’s acceleration and top speed will be better. The rubber seals are “LLB” low contact labyrinth type on both sides and after a few runs you will notice your bearing will get even smoother when the bearing seal beds in.

We got sent a sneak peak of the prototype Mugen MBX6E car. It features a longer chassis, two-piece slide adjustable motor mount and optional 3mm or 4mm motor mounting screws. Well balanced with a large radio box and dual or single battery holder, the car is very stable and has excellent steering. Team driver Travis Amezcua will be running one at the upcoming Electric Nats at the NorCal hobbies track and team driver Dylan Rodriguez will be driving his at the upcoming Thunder Alley Gas Champs at Thunder Alley Raceway.
