Hudy Slot chassis weights

Hudy Slot chassis weights

Hudy have introduced these slot chassis weights that perfectly fit into the chassis slots of most popular electric touring cars, including the Xray T3. These extra weights, necessary for use with lightweight LiPo batteries, may be placed in the correct and lowest positions on the chassis. For use with battery packs with or without battery location ledges they are available in two different weights: 6g and 12g. The 6g weights are best used with LiPo packs that have battery chassis location ledges; the 6g weights may be located between the ledges. 2 pieces per package. CNC-machined from brass, black color powdered they are laser engraved with the weight for instant identification.

Xray T3 – History Repeating

Xray T3 - History Repeating

It’s a good tradition at Slovakian manufacturer Xray to present a new touring car towards the end of the year and 2009 made no exception to this rule. We reviewed the T2 ‘009 back in March and, as you might expect, for some time now the 2010 car is up for grabs. The T2 ‘010 is … err, stop, there is no ‘010 as Xray decided to introduce the next evolution of their race and award winning T-cars platform: the T3! As you would expect with Xray the new car is more of an evolution than a revolution although some wished to see a totally new layout with the now common heavier-than-brushed-set-ups brushless motors and speed controls and lightweight LiPo battery packs. Instead of a totally new car Xray introduced an only slightly adapted T2 that copes with the new equipment and does not deny its roots. In fact on first glance one could easily overlook the many changes that went into the new Xray T3!

Factory Team SC10 lightweight ball differential

Factory Team SC10 lightweight ball differential

Team Associated have announced the introduction of the Factory Team ball differential specifically designed for the SC10. Once built, the differential fits directly into the stock SC10 transmission case without any modifications. Racers have long enjoyed the handling benefits that a ball differential offers. For nearly 30 years, competition electric off-road cars have been equipped with them, and for good reason, ball differentials improve handling consistency over bumpy surfaces while increasing cornering capabilities. Each outdrive is machined from hardened steel for exceptional durability, then lightened to reduce rotating mass. The outdrives are also available separately so that current T4 and B4 differentials can be upgraded for use in the SC10.
