SkyRC Ares S-Pro2 short course brushless motor

SkyRC introduce the Ares S-Pro2 competition brushless motor for 4WD short course trucks. The motor is designed around a CNC-machined T6 billet aluminium heatsink can and features a 2-pole/3-slots setup, 5mm pinion shaft, adjustable timing and heavy-duty solder tabs. It is available in four different specifications as 4.5T/4800kv, 5.5T/4000kv, 6.5T/3400kv and 7.5T/3000kv variant for high-speed down to technical tracks and usable with sensorless and sensored controllers alike.

SkyRC Toro 1S120 1/12th scale brushless ESC

SkyRC introduce the Toro 1S120 brushless speed controller for all racing classes that use 1S LiPo batteries. The speedo features a built-in DC booster to do away with the need to run a 2S receiver battery while an internal capacitor module replaces the external capacitor board. The controller has a 3.5T motor limit, features a 6V/3A BEC system, a built-in on/off switch and an easy access programming socket. The large array of software features including boost and turbo functions is adjustable using SkyRC’s own PC interface or an optional programming box.

The SkyRC infrared thermometer helps to measure the temperature of nitro and gas engines, electric motors, speed controllers, battery packs and many more. The handy device offers 3-button operation and features a large, back-lit LCD screen to display temperatures from -40°C up to 380°C as well as the respective °F range. Offering four modes including a quick and scan mode the thermometer also stores the highest and lowest temperature and it is housed in a sturdy and ergonomically shaped plastic case.

SkyRC Toro TS50 brushless sensored ESC

New from SkyRC comes the Toro TS50 sensored brushless speed controller. The lightweight ESC is good for the use with down to 8.5T motors in on-road cars and 11.5T motors in buggies due to his 50A rating. The controller features a blue anodised aluminium heatsink case, it can take an optional fan unit and offers a 6V/2A BEC system. It can be widely programmed using the on-board programming feature or SkyRC’s optional programming box or SkyLink USB interface to adapt the punch and brake curves to your liking.

SkyRC introduce the Ares Pro competition brushless motor line. The 540-size motors make use of a vented T6 aluminium heatsink case and they feature high purity copper windings, heavy duty solder tabs, sintered neodymium magnets and dual sensor ports. The motors are build to meet ROAR and IFMAR rules and the very low turn variants come with a radial fan unit in the front end bell. Versions available include windings from 3.5T up to 21.5T with special stock motors and “even” 4.0T and 5.0T offerings hitting the shops also.

New from SkyRC comes the Quattro Micro battery charger for the use with many Micro-type batteries. Offering four individual charging ports with LED displays and adjustable charging rates of 0.1A up to 1.0A the ACDC device is ideal for the use with Losi micro battery packs and it also fills the flight batteries of Walkera, MX and mCPX aircrafts if you wish to play around a little bit between the heats during a race. The displays state the capacity, voltage, charging current and the pack’s status while the charger itself features a vast amount of safety features such as short circuit, over current, reverse polarity and DC input voltage protection.

SkyRC Toro SC120A brushless speed controller

SkyRC introduce the Toro SC120 Competition brushless speed controller. Designed for the use in 4WD short course trucks the speed is able to handle up to 4S LiPo set-ups, it features a 6V/3A linear BEC system and it works with sensored and sensorless motors. The case measures 57x38x35mm and it can be taken apart to replace the internal fan unit while the heavy-duty gold-plated solder towers allow the use even of very thick silicone wires. The on/off switch is of a dust-protected electric type and the controller is highly adjustable using 10 user-modifiable profiles that can be tweaked using an optional programming box or a PC interface.

SkyRC RacingStar tyre warmer

SkyRC introduce the RacingStar tyre warmer for 1/10th on-road cars. The microcomputer controlled unit allows the independent heating of all four tyres in a temperature range of 20°C to 80°C in order to extract the maximum performance from the tyres right from the start. Housed in a red anodised aluminium case the tyre warmer offers a back-lit display, four LEDs and eight beep tones to monitor and control the settings. The unit is designed to fit on top of the recently announced eFuel 17A power supply and can also be powered by a 3S LiPo battery allowing to take it to the starting grid when needed. Included in the set are the RSTW control unit, front and rear tyre warmers and a DC input cable.
