Team Losi Racing have introduced the 8ight 3.0, a buggy which has been honed and tuned to provide new found levels of drivability, consistency and performance with only one thing in mind- to make you faster as a driver. The Team Losi Racing team of engineers, designers and racers have looked critically at the 2.0 platform and tuned it in areas to make it more forgiving to drive, more consistent through the bumps, more tractable on acceleration and overall more stable without having to sacrifice any of the legendary reliability, robustness or that all important factor, Speed.

Dominic Bauer joins TLR

Horizon Hobby Germany have announced that Austrian youngster and rising star Dominic Bauer has made the move from Mugen to Team Losi Racing. The reigning National Champion will be using high performance products from TLR, Spektrum and Dynamite. Dominic had also made the move from Novarossi to Alpha engines for the new season.

Bittydesign 8ight Force 2.0 body

Bitty Design 8ight Force 2.0 body

Bittydesign have given the Force line a refresh for 2013 and will be released new 2.0 bodies. The first model to receive the new look is the Losi 8ight body. They have completely changed the front part of the cab, a new angle providing different downforce which helps reduce steering aggression compared to the original version. Also the introduction of a side air scoop reduces the air impact on the front to give the new 2.0 body a more neutral response. They also worked on the back, with two reverse scoops which help better balance the front/rear of the body giving to driver a better feeling. Produced with genuine 1mm Lexan polycarbonate, the body comes complete with decal sheet, window mask and protective film.

DE Racing Borrego ST wheels

DE Racing introduce the Borrego design 12mm hex wheels for the Team Associated T4.1 and TLR 22T trucks. The US made disc wheels can be used front and rear (the T4.1 needs to be converted to 12mm hex adapters), are available in yellow, white and black colour and are useable with optional wheel stickers. They are build to meet all ROAR specs and are available now.

FTW 8ight wing spacer kits

FTW Racing Components has added to its lineup of carbon fibre upgrades with the release of its wing spacer kits for the Team Losi 8ight series of 1:8 off-road cars. Testing has shown performance gains can be realized by fine tuning the orientation of the wing. FTW’s mount spacer kit creates additional wing tuning options through the use of pairs of spacers which can be placed between the rear shock tower and wing mount. The kit include two pairs of 4mm thick carbon fibre spacers, allowing the wing mount to be moved 4mm or 8mm away from the rear shock tower. Longer screws are supplied with the kit to facilitate proper fastening of the wing mount.

JConcepts TLR 22 aluminum wing & body mount

JConcepts introduce the aluminum wing and body mount for the TLR 22 line-up of vehicles. CNC-machined from high quality aluminum and available in blue and black color, the mounts are designed in a creative but functional way to add rigidity to a high-impact area. They act as wing mount on the 22 buggy and as body mount on the 22T and come laser-engraved with JC logos.
