Xray T2 Alu Quick Roll-Center holder

New for the Xray T2 chassis from Xray are these 4.9mm alu quick roll-center holders which allow you to make the upper linkage longer in either the front or rear suspension of all T2-based cars. Using the 4.9mm roll-center holders in the front makes the car turn easier and more precisely, while using them in the rear increases steering and cornering speed. Supplied as a pair marked L1 and L2.

The 29th installment in the Xray column from Xray owner and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online. In this months column, Juraj reflects on the company’s beginnings and how no one at the time believed there was a market for his line of tools and tire truers and how he proved them wrong.

I remember the statements like it was yesterday: “Are your crazy? Special aluminum tools for RC car racers?” Well, maybe I was crazy for deciding to go my own way and risk producing equipment and tools which were previously unknown/unseen and which the majority of racers had no idea what they were. However, I was a racer and designer at the same time so I knew those products would be successful because they make life easier for an RC car racer. Now I know I was right and had the right vision.

Xray NT1 8.4mm Alu Pivot balls

Xray NT1 8.4mm Alu Pivot balls

New from Xray for the NT1 are these CNC-machined 8.4mm diameter mounting pivot balls, made from lightweight 7075 T6 aluminum. Sold in a set of 4, each pivot ball is 63% lighter than its steel counterpart, giving a total combined weight saving of 18.8 grams on a car. Precision machined with highest tolerances using fully-automatic German CNC-machines. High-quality hard coating is done at Xray’s own in-house fully-robotic hard coating line, ensuring a perfect surface every time. A post-hard coating black finish provides a stylish look.

Xray T2 Aluminium adjustable turnbuckles

Xray have released new black anodised aluminium adjustable turnbuckles for use on the T2 range of cars. Available in 2 lengths, 39mm and 26mm these M3 turnbuckles have been manufactured from strong, lightweight 7075 T6 aluminum. Precision threading for fine toe adjustment they are sold in a set of 2 and each turnbuckle offers a 50% saving in weight.

Xray T2'009 38T Conversion set

Following on from the release of the rubber spec conversion for the Xray T2’009 EU and T2R Pro comes this 38T conversion set which changes the internal transmission ratio from 1.7 to 1.9. Set includes top-quality 38T composite solid axle and 38T diff pulley, plus new front & rear belts to fit the new pulleys. Improves on/off throttle response, increases stability and makes the car easier to drive. Recommended for all surfaces and traction conditions.
