Novarossi Ball bearing extractor tool

To get a long life out of your Novarossi based engine you will at some point need to replace the engine’s bearings. Because of high tolerances inside the crankcase however this can be a difficult and often not very precise task. To help with this Novarossi have released this ball bearing extractor tool. Available in blue anodized alloy the kit has multiple ball bearing adapters of different sizes, suitable for all rear ball bearing inner races that are used inside 2.1cc – 4.66cc NR based engines. The extractor tool is also available with just a single bearing adapter, ranging from 11mm to 14.5mm.

Capricorn RC CL-12E Engine

Italian company Capricorn RC have announced that they have created their own engine brand, starting with this CL-12E 2.1cc touring car engine. Based on the Sirio block, the new range will eventually include 3.5cc competition motors for on road and off road. The internals of the engine have been completely revised under their own specifications and feature both front and rear ceramic bearings as well as having laser etched internal components. The engine will also be available as a tuned version (shown in photos) and will come with a black crankcase, standard version is silver, and a hand modified crankshaft, while all motors will be available in an optional set that includes the manifold, pipe and clutch system. Werks Racing 3 chamber buggy pipe

Werks Racing have announced the release of it’s new 3 chamber buggy pipe system. Completely legal under the new EFRA rules and carrying the EFRA 3014 homologation number, it has been designed from the ground up to provide a strong, linear power band with the best possible fuel millage. The new 3014 pipe is made to resist dents and dings and was manufactured with material over 50% thicker than what was found in their 2013 pipe. They have also incorporated a machined brace on the stinger to minimize the likelihood of damage in what is easily the most vulnerable part of the pipe. Complete aluminium construction for the lightest possible weight and finished with a mirror polish to add a little bit of “bling” to your ride.

Losi have announced the release of this new RE10 exhaust system, complete with forward pointing pressure nipple, this new exhaust system provides extra clearance to keep the pressure line out of harm’s way. Providing immediately gratifying explosive power, the system includes all necessary mounting equipment, while the attractive reinforced exit pipe helps prevent damage, with the unique finish setting the pipe apart.

Novarossi Exhaust Gas Cooler

As seen for the first time here on Red RC, Novarossi have announced that they are released their Exhaust Gas Cooler. Mounted between the tuned pipe and the fuel tank, it will take away some heat from the exhaust gas that goes into the fueltank, lowering the temprature of the fuel and increasing the runtime. Available in late August, the cooler will be sold in anodised purple.

Much More Silcone fuel tubing

Korean company Much More have released a new line of heavy duty, high grade, high quality silicone fuel tubing. Many unidentified nitro engine issues can often be caused by cracks or leaks in the tubing. Much More’s fuel tubing resolves this issue as it flexes easily to prevent cracks, yet is thicker and more durable than standard fuel tube. Available in natural blue or black colour, it is sold in 1m lengths.
