GM/Graupner High-Voltage brushless servos

New from GM/Graupner are these High-Voltage brushless servos or HBS for short, which combine the performance of brushless technology with all the advantages of the high-voltage servo. In addition to the unparalleled acceleration, greater efficiency and no wear of carbon brushes, these servos can be supplied with an operating voltage up to 8.4V. Direct connection of 2-cell LiPo battery packs is now possible with no problem, in addition, these servos also provide top performance at an operating voltage of just 6V. Serpent Cobra aluminium servo saver

Serpent have released this new coated aluminium servo-saver for the Cobra buggy and truggy. CNC machined from aerospace quality aluminium with it is super-strong compared to the kit nylon version and is a direct replacement with no modifications necessary.

CSO LAB-C801 2-speed shaft

CSO have released this new 2-speed shaft for the Capricorn LAB-C801 1/8th on road chassis. Made from hard coated steel, this 8mm shaft has been hollowed out to reduce weight and the 2-speed adapter is separate from the shaft making it simpler to replace.

JQ Products lightened outdrives

JQ Products have now released lightened outdrives for THE Car. There is a version for the centre diff and for the front/rear differentials and the full set saves 14 grams on the drivetrain which is a good amount of rotating mass. We are told that later on there will some pretty trick lightened centre dogbone outdrives released.

Serpent S411 V2 motor mount bracket

Serpent have released this V2 one-piece aluminium motor mount bracket set for their S411 chassis. Precision machined from 7075 T6, it combines the motor mount and middle bracket and compared to the standard two piece setup, this will reduce flex and offer a different feeling of grip.

Matrix Racing tires’ new Flex rim

New from Matrix Racing tires, the Flex rim, has been developed with the help of some of the best drivers in the world. It allows a more event flexibility which greatly improves grip and traction. Tested at the Italian Nationals held last week in Bologna, the wheel proved successful with Lamberto Collari, Alberto Picco and Michele Romagnoli taking 1-2-3 using the new design.

New from KM Racing for their H-K1 1/10th 200m car, is this optional version 2 chassis plate. Made from a thicker 4mm high quality 7075 T6 aluminium, it makes the car stiffer overall, perfect for high bite conditions.

CEFX Griffin 12 2011 conversion

Since its release in 2009, the Griffin 12 Conversion has been a leading contender if not dominating the 1/12 Modified scene. Since the prototype TQ’d the IIC in 2009, the Griffin has gone on to win back to back Snowbird Nationals and ROAR Nationals. Add in a victory at the 2010 IIC, dominating performance at the U.S. Indoor Championships, IFMAR WC Finalist in Germany, several other TQ’s and wins and the CEFX Griffin has set a very high bar in 1/12 performance. For 2011-2012 season, CEFX have decided to add in a few features to give Griffin users more options. Small shape changes to the chassis to improves stiffness along with tape slots and a raised center shock position now allow the Griffin user the option of multiple battery positions – the usual forward/back position as the standard Griffin but now also the option to run the battery turned ‘inline’. New tape slots and simple locators to run the battery on either side of the Griffin make it possible to maximize the balance and CG on different tracks depending on the main direction of corners. By request of our racers, we will also be making a ‘flexi’ Asphalt chassis in the same cut pattern as the Griffin 2011 chassis.
