This 5 port 3,5cc buggy engine features a bi-turbo crankshaft, lightened cooling head and turbo combustion chamber and comes with a RB homologated in-line pipe and compact manifold. Xray Column – National Heroes

The 36th installment in the Xray column from Xray owner and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online. In this months column, Juraj talks about the company’s successes on Regional and National levell.

Being away at races, test sessions, or warm-up preparations, nearly every weekend is spent away at some event. The racing though is not only about the Worlds, Euros, or International races — those are really just the tip of the iceberg — but there are also hundreds of other races going on every week… club, local, and regional races and of course the numerous national race series in every category in all countries around the world. The XRAY national and regional teams around the world have been well known for their very active work and racing during the whole season, and we do our best to publish all the latest news on our Web site. I closely monitor all race reports coming from around the world and I am always very happy and proud for every single XRAY victory no matter where it comes from.

Speed Passion Sport Tuned V2.0 BL motors

Speed Passion have informed us about their new Sport Tuned Version 2.0 Sensorless brushless motors. Available in three different versions, racers have their choice of the 2500KV F1 Design, the 3000KV RTR Design and the 4000KV Drift/On Design. All of these motors include Speed Passion’s new improved one piece design and V2 sensor less base technology. They also share the new high current power plug in design like its V3 brother for solder less motor changes. To keep the wires and plugs clean and safe in all applications, Speed Passion introduces the new protection cap with a bright blue anodized look.

Vampire Racing Duo Ball bearings

Vampire Racing have released their Duo ball bearings, a new high performance range of ball bearings. Guaranteeing a free running drive train and long durability, they will be available in sets for Team Associated B4/T4, X-Factory X-6/X-60 and in sets of 10pcs per size (3/8×5/8 & 3/16×3/8).

Kyosho Ultima SC Truck

Following on from the preview we received back in September of the new Ultima SC truck from Kyosho, comes the release of the complete specifications and features on this 2wd short course truck that is due to be released next month. The boom of the R/C short course racing is spreading across the world and is becoming a part of some of the major races in the U.S. ROAR already has announced this class and regulations have been introduced. The Ultima SC has been designed with all of the racing performance in mind and meets all ROAR regulations. This Ready-Set is not just a backyard basher but a race ready chassis with many of the high performance traits from the Ultima RT5.

Schepis Models to distribute Sirio Engines

We received the exclusive news that Sirio engines, who up until recently were distributed by A.M.R.C., will now be distributed worldwide by Schepis Models. We were given the information from Gino Voghera (above right) from Lavorazioni Meccaniche Srl who was visiting the Offroad Meeting in Italy along with Salvatore Schepis, owner of Schepis Models. We can expect an official announcement on the partnership in the coming days.
