Nils Gustafsson joins Dash RC

Dash RC have announced that they will be teaming up with one of Swedens top young offroad racers, Nils Gustafsson. The Team Associated driver will be powered by Dash electronics with the support from NettoRC and Dash is very happy to welcome him on board. The 15 year old will focus on 1/10 and 1/8 offroad with a focus on national and select international races.

Lex Tyler joins Reds Racing

Reds Racing are happy to announce that the 1/10 touring class multi-winner Lex Tyler has joined their team for the 2022 and 2023 racing season. Lex will be using Reds Racing 1/10 electronics and will be attending several important competitions in the next months. Völker wins ETS Rd5 in Daun and is overall champion

ETS Rd5 took place at the Sporthotel Grafenwald in Daun/GER last weekend. The race saw 285 racers in the six ETS classes, and the event started with a free practice day on Thursday, followed by 4 rounds of qualifying and triple finals for everybody. The track layout was technical, challenging, and perfect for some intense ETS racing. In the Matrix Modified class it was a two-horse race for the win between Marc Rheinard and Ronald Völker. After a hard fight in qualifying, with both drivers taking two out of four rounds, Völker was able to secure the pole position with the faster overall runtime compared to Rheinard. Christopher Krapp was in striking distance to the leaders all time and lined up third on the grid.

Kilic brothers join Yokomo Factory team

Team Yokomo have welcomed the Kilic brothers to their factory team. Burak Kilic who recently turned 18, and younger brother Berkan Kilic who is only 16 years old will be part of the offroad factory team. The Kilic brothers will pilot the YZ4-SF2 4wd buggy and YZ2-CAL3.1 2wd buggy for EOS, Nationals and World championship races. Bringing great results and experience, from their knowledge in 1/8 buggy platforms, the brothers will bring this speed and knowledge across to the 1/10 buggy program for Team Yokomo.

Yokomo sign Ethan Cheng to factory team

Team Yokomo would like to welcome Ethan Cheng from Singapore to their factory team. Cheng, who is only 16 years old, will be a part of the Onroad team. The young talent, who recently competed at the ETS Rd4 in Germany, will be piloting the BD10LC and future touring car platforms locally and international races.

Elias Johansson joins Dash RC factory team

Dash RC have announced the signing of top Swedish driver Elias Johansson to their factory team from 2022 and beyond. The Swedish offroad national champion and multiple EOS A-finalist will now use the full range of Dash RC electronics, including ESC, motor and accessories from the brand to race and compete for wins.

2022 BRCA 1/12th Rd1 & Rd2 report

Rounds 1 and 2 of the BRCA 12th Circuit Section Nationals were held last weekend in Eastbourne. This was the first national competition for the section since before the pandemic so was well anticipated. There has been a change to the format of the series with the LMP12 and GT Circuit sections combining forces and offering a GT12 class and a 13.5 stock LMP12 class. The championship is being held over 6 rounds with 4 counting rounds. The Eastbourne club laid out a large track at their Robertsbridge facility using the excellent carpet used at the 2020 World Championships. On first impressions the track layout looked quite intimidating but was actually a fast and flowing track that would test the skills of all the drivers. There was a capacity entry of 30 GT12 drivers and 56 LMP12 drivers.

Cyril N’Diaye joins Xray Factory Team

Xray is happy to announce that French National Champion Cyril N’Diaye is joining the Xray Factory Team to race the X4 platform. On his new team, Cyril said, ‘I am super happy to join the team Xray. No doubt it’s most professional company in RC industry.
