Gerhard Kandelhart wins at Austrian on-road nats Rd4

The 4th round of the Austrian on-road nationals took place at this year’s 1/10 European Championship track in Kirchberg. After taking the TQ in qualifying with his 200mm Shepherd car he also had no problem to bump up from the semi-final to the main final. In the final he quickly build up a lead and pulled away from the rest of the field. Dellinger & Henn win at RC Pro South Division Rd3

Dellinger & Henn win at RC Pro South Division Rd3

The 3rd and final round of the RC Pro South Division was hosted by Speedmonkey RC in Irving, Tx. In Pro E-Buggy, it was a combination of the usual three guys battling for TQ, Brian Henn, Jake Dellinger and David Joor and at the end of the day Dellinger would take the TQ and Joor 2nd in Pro E-Buggy while in Pro4, Henn had a rough first qualification round, still only missing TQ for that round by one second. Brian though easily won the other three rounds to take the overall TQ. As Sunday rolled around, everyone knew the chance of rain was high. Sure enough a few minutes after the drivers arrived to the track, it began to rain. There was a small break here and there, but not enough to be able to run. So the mains were cancelled and finishing positions were based off qualifying leaving Jake Dellinger and Brian Henn take the rained out win in Pro E-Buggy and Pro 4 respectively.

In the truck final, Drake charged away from the field in the beginning and was able to cruise the last half of the race to take the win followed by Cody King as he did in the electric buggy class were he was able to take the victory by a large margin. South German nitro on-road regionals – Report

A round to the South German nitro on-road regionals was run at the prestigious track in Hof. The race was held in 1/10th 200mm Scale as well as 1/8th Class 1 and Class 2. In the 200m class it was Dominic Greiner (Serpent) who put his car on TQ after the qualifiers. He also won his 1/2 final and the main final in front of Michael Heinrich and Ralf Krause. In 1/8th Class 1 Toni Gruber (Serpent) looked like the man to beat all weekend. He was the only driver to pull 20 laps with laptimes as low as 12.1s, missing out the current track record by only a tenth of a second. Therefore it was no surprise that he won is 1/2 final some two laps in front of Torsten Müller. His 91 laps run was enough to secure him the pole position for the final that he later on won four laps in front of Torsten Müller (Xray) and Oliver Lembeck (Mugen).
