Italian company Bittydesign has released several sets of coloured body shell clips for 1/10th vehicles. They are of a directed design with the sets including four left hand and four right hand clips to make for a symmetrical appearance once attached to the body or wing. The clips are available in several colours including red, blue, green, gold, dark grey, orange and purple.
Hobbywing have announced the signing of Sweden’s Alexander Hagberg to their factory team. The former World and European Champion will use Hobbywing products in the 1/10th Touring and 1/12th on-road classes and his knowledge and skill is expected to further strengthen the already impressive Hobbywing factory team. The former long-time Team Orca driver has the following to say:
I am extremely pleased to announce that I am joining the international Hobbywing team for 2018! After taking note of the performance of the Hobbywing products in the last few years, mainly from some of my teammates, I can definitely say that I am both confident and excited to use the products myself! The second round of the Swiss Electric On-road Nationals was held at the MRCP Indoor Race Arena in Dagmersellen near Luzern. Classes run were Touring Modified, Touring ProStock, Formula and 1/12th Pan Car 10.5T Boosted. In the Touring ProStock class, a very strong Darco Meister (Tamiya) took the overall TQ after three very close qualifyings with Kerim Kahraman (Infinity) and Daniel Burgener (Schumacher) finishing in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Calandra Racing Concepts have introduced two new option parts for the WTF1 1/10th formula car. First up are the A-arms CRC have received a lot of requests for. First spotted on Frank Calandra’s Cleveland TQ car in 2016, the prototype A-arms have been refined and tweaked and are now ready for public consumption. They are strong, precision manufactured and improve the feeling of the front end.
Speedtech RC, the brand of German 1/12th scale wizard Markus Mobers, is now offering a red anodised aluminium chassis and lower pod plate set for the CRC CK25. Developed and tested by Speedtech RC team drivers, the prototype chassis has already achieved some racing pedigree by winning the Masters of Foam race. The chassis set is considered to be a hot ticket for all high-traction environments – as they are expected for the upcoming 1/12th scale EFRA Euros in Sittard. The alloy chassis set is a direct replacement and available now.

The MRCP Dagmersellen club near Luzern, Switzerland played host to last weekend’s second round of the Swiss Indoor Championship. In the Touring Modified class and after three rounds of qualifying, Philipp Huber obtained the pole position followed by Renato Isler and local hero Mario Rigert. In the triple A-mains Philipp again stayed on top of things, taking the day’s win from Renato Isler and Marco Balmer, making it an all-Team-Magic podium.
