Bowie Ginting wins Indonesian GT Nationals Rd4

Round four of the Indonesian GT National Championship was recently held at Sunter International Speedway. Serpent’s Bowie Ginting would take the overall TQ in front of Serpent teammate Arya to start from pole position into the 30-minute main final. At the start Arya would jump into the lead while polesitter Bowie had to return to the pits to have his engine’s carburettor readjusted. Rejoining the field dead last Bowie soon recovered, taking the 2nd place behind Arya some six minutes into the race. Some time later the latter had to retire with engine problems which left Bowie in the lead with a huge margin on the field. At the end Bowie Ginting (Serpent/O.S.) was able to wrap up the win some 8 laps ahead of Rahmat Futaki (HongNor/O.S.) with Yuri Taruna (Mugen/O.S.) in third. Infinity IF14 1/10th scale electric touring car kit

Infinity have officially introduced their new IF14 1/10th scale electric touring car kit. Originally based off of the SMJ CX11, the kit was refined with the help of Infinity’s factory on-road team that includes World Champions such as Marc Rheinard, Jilles Groskamp, Naoto Matsukura and Andy Moore to name just a few. The car makes use of a new, fully symmetrical chassis and topdeck design for precise steering action and equal traction characteristics while the somewhat unconventional suspension mount design has the lower arms attached to the front and rear aluminium bulkheads rather than the chassis as it is standard for most of today’s electric touring cars which results in a more natural chassis flex. Composite bushings make for swift and easy suspension geometry changes, such as toe and anti-squat, without the need for additional suspension brackets.

Teamsaxo carbon fibre pan car front suspension spacers

Teamsaxo have introduced a set of carbon fibre front suspension spacers for their line of GT pan cars kits. Including 0.5mm, 1.0mm and 2.0mm thick shims, the set helps to adjust the front ground clearance by raising the front suspension in relation to the chassis plate. The slotted design allows to easily slide the washers between the suspension bracket and chassis without completely undoing the whole assembly.
