CRC Xti-WC LCG rear pod

CRC have introduced the low centre of gravity rear pod for Xti-based 1/12th scale cars. The LCG motor pod was designed for modern racing with tiny overall tyre diameters as even with 38mm bare rims, 4mm of ride height are achievable. The new rear pod plates are made from super strong 7075-T6 aircraft quality aluminium, anodised in CRC’s signature blood red with silver double machining. The ride height adjustments are done using a slider design that does away with inserts, spacers, and washers. On top of this the centre of gravity on this pod system has been lowered greatly as the overall height is lower, the bulk of the weight is near the bottom and the upper motor screw has been lowered. The sliders are smaller and the upper plate now uses two screws instead of three. The set includes a new motor and side plate, the sliders and a rear carbon X-brace.
