Jackson Brunson wins at Force Series Rd3

The 3rd round of the Force Series Fall Session was held at Mills Pond Raceway was held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida this past weekend. In Expert Nitro Buggy it was Team Associated’s Lee Setser with the overall TQ from TLR’s JR Mitch on P2 after the qualifiers. In the 25-minute A-main event it was Team Associated’s Jackson Brunson with the overall win some 6.4 seconds in front of Lee was JR had to settle for 3rd another 3.9 seconds behind.

Zero Tribe T4 Mid aluminium chassis conversion kit

Zero Tribe have announced the soon release of their popular Xray T4 Mid chassis conversion kit in a limited edition aluminium chassis variant. Based on the proven carbon fibre kit the alloy set will include a newly developed medium flex aluminium main chassis as well as a narrow-type 2.0mm carbon fibre upper deck. The conversion is best used in high to very high-bite track conditions and it is usable with the 2017 to 2019 variants of the Xray T4 touring car. The alloy chassis will also become available separately for those who already own the carbon fibre kit.

Winter is Coming 2019 – Announcement

The Dutch Mach-One Helmond club will hold their season closing Winter is Coming race on the 26th and 27th of October at their astro turf track in Helmond, The Netherlands. The fifth running of the event will be held in 1/8th Nitro Buggy and 1/8th E-Buggy classes and more information can be found on the club’s social media page here.

Mauritian Cup Rd4 – Report

Round 4 of the 2019 Mauritian Cup was held this past weekend with drivers from Reunion Island, Mauritius and France in attendance. When the dust had settled and in the 1/10th Touring 10.5T Boosted class it was Jovanni Appasamy with the overall win from Kevin Robert in 2nd and Miguel Thiong-Soui-Ho in 3rd.

Indonesia Buggy Nationals finale – Report

The final round of the Indonesia Buggy Nationals was held at the C-Netic RC Track in Surabaya, East Java last weekend. A total of 46 drivers from Jakarta, Medan, Padang, Batam, Banjarmasin, Pontianak, Makasar as well as local racers attended this event whose schedule saw six rounds of 10-minute qualifying followed by bump-up finals. After the six rounds of qualifying it was Jason Nugroho (HB Racing/Ninja) with the overall TQ honours, unfortunately in the A-main final he suffered from two flame-outs because of flywheel problems and finished in 2nd place. Up front it was Adrian Wicaksono (Mugen/Ninja) who would walk away with the win as Rama Tribudiman (Kyosho/O.S.) came in 3rd to round out the podium.

Frederik Brolos Mikkelsen wins at Tonisport Masters

The 2019 Tonisport Master were held at the Arena33 indoor track in Andernach this past weekend. In the competitive Touring 13.5T class it was Frederik Brolos Mikkelsen with the overall TQ after winning two of the three qualifying rounds, leaving behind Simon Lauter on the runner-up spot. The opening A-main again saw Frederik holding the upper hand from Tobias Vogel while in A2 it was Simon with the win from Frederik. The deciding A3 was again won by Frederik as Simon and Tobias came in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Overall it was Frederik with the win as Simon and Tobias came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Jesse Keller takes Dutch 1/8th NK class title

The final round of the Dutch IC Track Nationals was held at the EVMC Velp track last weekend. Due to unstable weather conditions practice was difficult and also the start of the race was still troublesome due to some small rain showers. In the 1/8th NK class qualifying Robbin Hertong managed to set the fastest time on a drying track with 14 laps. Joey Sorber showed a strong performance as well and took the 2nd place in front of Jesse Keller in 3rd place.

Louth RCCC Schumacher Winter Series Rd1 – Report

The past weekend saw the running of the Schumacher Winter Series presented by the Louth Radio Control Car Club. The series in its third year and in conjunction with Schumacher Racing, remained the same with the rules and format focusing on the racing and not the budget of the racers. This year the classes remained the same with 13.5 Blinky, 17.5 Open, Tamiya Euro Trucks, GT12 and the additional of the Tamiya M-Chassis and MTC. Clashes with other events would see the numbers at a solid 50, as drivers rolled in for an action packed day of racing. Chris Lovely would be in control of the 13.5 class, taking three rounds of qualifying, Andrew Green would take 2nd with his TQ run, whilst the battle for 3rd was close between Daniel Burks and Joseph Cocking. Callum Chapman and Lisa Keen would make the main final and round out the proceedings.
