MTS T3 mid-motor conversion kit

Coming soon from MTS is a mid-motor conversion kit for their T3 electric touring car. The set includes a new lower chassis plate, multi-piece motor and layshaft mount, a C-shaped centre bar to adjust chassis stiffness and included is also a reversible upper deck that allows to fine-tune the stiffness of the front or rear end of the car by flipping it around, swapping between a split and solid setting. In addition the torsional flex of the top deck is adjustable using included carbon fibre plates that help to reinforce the top plate. The set is rounded out by a new spur gear mount, front and and rear belts as well as carbon fibre battery locators.

Ramp roll out new B6.1 & B74 carbon fibre optionals

Ramp have announced the release of new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated B6.1/T6.1 and B74 off-road kits. First up is an O-ring battery retention system that ensures quick and easy battery swaps of both standard and LCG shorty batteries while the design also allows for effortless battery position tuning and more natural chassis flex. The set includes two carbon fibre battery braces, mounting hardware and two high-quality rubber O-rings. The set is usable on both the B6.1 buggy and T6.1 truck.

ISDT 608AC smart charger

Coming from ISDT is their all-new 608AC smart charger that is usable with both AC or DC input power. The modular design of the device allows to use it with an external 12VDC power source such as the new, modular AC power supply that conveniently attaches to the charger’s case, doing away with unnecessary wiring. The charger features a built-in 2S to 6S LiPo balancer, a back-lit display, and it supports ISDT’s BattGo one-click smart battery technology that allows for automatic battery detection when using compatible battery packs. Menu operation is carried out using a single shuttle roll twist and push knob and the charger is capable of up to 200W of charing power when used in DC mode.

Shepherd Velox V8.2 carbon chassis aero kit

Shepherd have announced the release of their new carbon aero kit for the chassis of their popular Velox V8.2 1/8th nitro on-road kit. The set was developed to reduce turbulences under the car, with the slicker surface making for higher top speeds. Two inserts are included in the set, a small one which is fixed with one centre screw and a longer one for the front chassis cut-out which is fixed using two screws that also allow to fine-tune the flex characteristic of the front end. The German-made carbon design set is available from now on.

KARS On-Road Championship – Report

The KARS On-Road Championship was recently held at the Icheon track in Korea with about 50 drivers in attendance. The 1/8th nitro main final was a close affair between Germany’s Andreas Giesa, 3-times Korean champion Kiyong Hong and Jaekook Yoo with the top 3 finishing within one lap. After 40 minutes Andreas saw the checkered in first position about five seconds in front of Kiyong. Jaekook completed the podium another two seconds down.

Carisma Scale Adventure MSA-1E 1976 Ford F-150 RTR

Carisma Scale Adventure have introduced there new 1/24th scale MSA-1E based 1976 Ford F-150 trail truck. Carisma have refined their popular mini scale truck platform to include new features like lower gearing, a Gen 2 motor with a built-in protection circuit, the Gen 2 servo saver and the fully licensed 1976 Ford F-150 bodyshell. All this is combined with the compact KD Propo steering wheel transmitter with 1-2-3 speed feature. The truck comes factory assembled and also includes a power socket for all-in-one FPV cameras.

Ielasi Tuned competition conrods – Coming soon

Ielasi Tuned have released first information on their all-new competition conrods for Novarossi and OS-based engines. Machined from high-quality titanium and using highest quality self-lubricating bushing material, the conrods will greatly increase the engine performance while offering exceptional durability of all parts involved, including the conrod itself and the connection pin. The conrods will become available from mid-November in two variants for almost all .21 Novarossi and almost all .21 O.S. Engines.
