T-Works UFO 64 titanium socket head screws

T-Works have introduced their new series of UFO 6AL/4V grade 5 titanium screws. CNC machined the M3 fasteners sport a distinctive “flying saucer”-shaped 2mm hex head, making them not only look different compared to other screws but they also provide exceptional mounting surface. The screws will be available in 14 different length from 4mm up to 24mm wit a special 35mm long variant also being available.

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Xray XB2 buggies are the Aero front wings. Already available for a range of 2WD buggy the tailor-made wings help to fine-tune the buggy’s aerodynamic behaviour. The Aero front wing mounts in “clean air” and is quite easy to trim, use and test without sacrificing all important track time. Available in two widths, the driver can choose either the “narrow” for a lighter feel or “wide” for heavier down force. Each set includes two narrow or two wide wings.

Tekno introduce revised SCT410 bumper & shock parts

Coming from Tekno RC are a revised SCT410 bumper as well as revised shock parts. Starting with the bumper, the front skid plate has returned to the SCT410 bumper by popular demand. This change brings increased durability and chassis protection to the front of the truck. For those that would prefer the added ground clearance, the skid can be easily removed. The part is fully compatible with all generations of the SCT410 and requires one M3x8mm cap head screw and two M4x15mm flat head screws.

Malin Karlsen sweeps Grenland Champs Rd5

Round five of the Grenland 2WD Championship was held in Skien, Norway. Despite arriving late for qualifying due to a last minute decision to participate in the race, Malin Karlsen took the pole position for the triple A-mains and she would continue to dominate as she won the opening two A-main finals and also put in the only 14-laps run of the day. In the third and final A-main Malin had to stop with a dumped battery on lap 9 while holding a 15 seconds lead but with wins in A1 and A2 she had already grabbed the overall win. Team Associated driver Mathias Fink would come in second that day while Petter Strand (Team Associated) rounded out the top 3.

Exotek D216 chassis brace & direct spur mount

Coming from Exotek and made for the HB Racing D216 buggy are an aluminium chassis brace and the direct spur mount. Starting with the chassis brace, the part is machined from 6061 aluminium and it comes black anodised. The lightweight battery-to-transmission brace removes one of the pivot points in order to increase chassis stiffness and it includes a long wear steel bushing.

Schmidt & Vogt take wins at Alpencup Rd5

Round 5 of the Alpencup was held at the RC Club Wyland in Switzerland on a pretty technical astroturf track. In the 2WD class Nico Schmid took the overall TQ after the four rounds of qualifying and he would be able to conserve his qualifying performance by taking wins in A2 and A3 to walk away with the overall victory from Philip Jeisy and Gregi Gassmann in second and third respectively.

ST Racing Concepts have introduced new optional parts for Axial’s SCX10 II, Wraith and RR10 Bomber kits. The release includes heavy duty front and rear shock towers, servo mounts, and transmission mounts. The Front shock tower features heavy duty design that incorporates the front panhard link mount in the exact location as the stock plastic piece. The rear shock tower features the same beefy design that eliminates any flex and also keeps the body posts firmly in place.

TLR 22 3.0 carbon fibre & aluminium battery strap

Team Losi Racing have introduced the carbon fibre and aluminium battery strap for the 22 3.0 2WD off-road buggy. Utilising a carbon fibre brace and aluminium hinge the part replaces the standard composite plastic hold down with a more sturdy and cooler looking assembly. Included with the set come different size foam blocks that allow to shift the battery pack forth and back in order to fine-tune the weight bias.
