Paolo Morganti wins at Florida Nitro Series Rd6

The sixth and final round of the Florida Nitro Series was held at Homestead RC Raceway last weekend. In the 1/8th Open class Joaquin Desoto Jr. would take the TQ after the qualifiers, however in the 30-minute A-main it was Paolo Morganti who would excel, taking the win some five laps in front of Joaquin. 5th place qualifier, George Martinez came in 3rd to round out the podium.

Alvaro Jara wins at Chilean On-road Nats

The CACH club hosted the Chilean On-road Nationals last weekend and in the 1/8th IC Track class it was Alvaro Jara with the TQ and win. Alvaro would take the TQ with 1-lap margin and he would sweep the 30-minute A-main event, taking the win six laps in front of Cristobal Ugarte while Joaquin Silva completed the top 3 another five laps down.

WRC Racing GTX lightweight 2nd gear housing

WRC Racing have introduced a new lightweight 2nd gear housing for the GTX nitro on-road kit that will reduce the rotational mass of the drivetrain. The result is quicker spool-up and acceleration while the heavy machining of the carrier also improves cooling. The housing is machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it is available now.

Theobald & Endres win at Pro Stock Series

The Mac-Saar Niederwürzbach club in Germany held a round to the Pro Stock Series this past weekend. The weather was a bit on the changeable site, however the race would be held as planned with only some minor rain delays. In the IC Track class it was Oliver Theobald (Shepherd) with the win from David Kröger (Shepherd) and Matthias Günther (Shepherd). Over in the 1/8th Electric class it was Benny Endres with the win from Rene Franzl Simon and Frank Ramsperger.

Nejc Mihelic wins at Austrian IC Track opener

Last weekend the opening round of the Austrian 1/8th IC championship took place at the SFMAV Nussdorfring club. Xray’s Nejc Mihelic set the pace in practice, however after four rounds of qualifying it was ARC’s Herfried Pucher who took the TQ as his main contender Nejc was unable to set a clean run. The start of the A-main was very turbulent and it was Nejc who took the lead in the first corner and stayed there until the end of the 45-minute long final, followed by Shepherd’s Ljubischa Paunovic in 2nd and Herfried in 3rd.

2019 SARDA National Championship Rd2 – Report

The TRAP Raceway was host to the second round of the SARDA National 1/10th Off-road Championship in Pretoria, South Africa last weekend. TRAP being a tight track with not many opportunities to pass makes qualifying in a good position vital, this also led to some of the closest and most exciting racing seen for a while with everyone hunting the top step of the podium. Charles Hollander would top qualify in the 2WD Mod and 4WD Mod Buggy classes while Wikus Coetzer swept 2WD Stock, Stadium Trucks and 2WD SCT. In the 4WD Stock class it was Michael Gibson who would led the field. In the 2WD Mod A-main it then also was Charles Hollander who also brought home the win with Rikus Jansen Van Vuuren and Wikus Coetzer coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

It is constructed from very high quality, 3-D-printed plastic and suits most common setup stations like the ones from Hudy, Arrowmax, or GForce.
