More new titanium links from Samix, this time made for the Axial Wraith crawler. Machined from high-quality materials and coming surface treated and laser-etched the parts not only add strength while reducing weight but they also make for some visual impact at the same time. The links are available for the front and rear upper and lower as well as for the steering system and they are direct replacements for the stock parts.

Coming from Exotek and made for the Losi Mini 8ight Rally is a carbon fibre bottom chassis plate set as well as a carbon fibre top plate. Starting with the chassis set, the bottom plate is made from 2.0mm heavy-duty carbon fibre for durability and looks. It is much stiffer than the stock plastic chassis and it uses the Mini 8ight Truggy chassis side guards for a high-performance racer look. A machined motor area allows to use larger diameter motors and the chassis includes extra mounting holes for an optional gear cover and larger 1/10th low-profile steering servos. Also included comes a machined alloy nose plate and the chassis fits the Mini 8ight Rally and Desert Truck.
Tekno RC have introduced new CNC-machined flat/tapered 3×2.1 shock pistons for the company’s line of 1/8th and 1/10th scale vehicles. The pistons excel when used with the NB48.3 and EB48.3 vehicles on bumpy tracks where less pack than the original 4×1.8 pistons is needed. They produce more side bite and make the vehicle more consistent on ruts and bumps. The pistons are made from self-lubricating Delrin material and they utilise a new tapered shape. The CNC pistons have triple 2.1mm holes and the total piston hole area is 10.4mm² and they can be used with all Tekno RC and other vehicles that use 16mm bore shocks.

New from HRC Racing comes the HRC68026MG aluminium case servo for 1/14th to 1/18th scale vehicles. It is of a heavy duty design with an all-alloy case and metal gears as well as dual ball bearings. Compatible with Traxxas 1/16th scale cars the servo, measuring 30x10x30mm, also fits many other mini-size vehicles.

Scotty Ernst Productions have announced the Dragon Stone Asian Buggy Championship from September 1st to 4th 2016 in Liaoyang, China. The Asian Buggy Championship is an international 1/8th Buggy event that will be held at the Dragon Stone RC Facility that includes both 1/8th offroad and onroad tracks as well as all the amenities a racer would want. Some of the World’s top drivers have already confirmed their attendance like Ryan Maifield and Reno Savoya, with more to follow. Industry manufacturers will also be attending this event such as JConcept’s Jason and Allison Ruona and Jerome Treignier from RC Concepts among others. The Championship is open to all drivers from around the World regardless of ability. International racers attending the event will be treated to a very VIP experience such as a shuttle service to and from the track as well as an airport shuttle. Classes run include 1/8th Nitro Buggy, 1/8th Electric Buggy and 1/8th Nitro Truggy. Detailed information of the event can be found on the event website as well as on the Dragon Stone Facebook page.
