RC Concept MC5RS 3.5cc off-road engine

RC Concept have introduced their new MC5RS 3.5cc nitro off-road engine. The RS is based on the popular MC5X and MC5 World engines but utilises a new lighter piston for quicker spool-up and higher RPM. In addition a redesigned cooling head makes for a lower centre of gravity while retaining the same heat dissipation capabilities which is important when running in high ambient temperatures. A new black and red looks makes the engine stand out. Other features include an Avid ceramic front bearing, a Swiss-made ceramic main bearing as well as a DLC-coated crankshaft, a double needle carburettor and a piston sleeve. The package is rounded out by 7mm and 8mm venturi inserts. The engine is available separately or including EFRA 2099 or 2133 exhaust systems.
