John Peroyiannakis wins at Buggy Masters Rd9

Round 9 of the Greek Buggy Masters series was held recently with the event being affected by the weather prior to the race. Heavy rain the days before meant the track crew had to work extra hours but in the end it worked out and the track was slippery but good to go. At the end of the 30-minute nitro buggy main final it was John Peroyiannakis with the win from Aris Bornovas on the runner-up spot – the latter having to fight against an increasingly harder to drive car due to his engine being on the edge of a flameout. Sotiris Christodoulou came in 3rd to round out the podium result.

Unfortunately right before the start of the opening B-main it rained lightly, leaving the drivers guessing what to do in terms of tyres and setup for the greasy track. The opening A-main then did not went to the TQ holder’s favour as he lost concentration and had to let Michalis past while Nikos only came in 6th place.

The construction consists of composite bellcranks and it built using a hard retainer spring that ensures a crisper steering reaction in high-bite track conditions.
