Yokomo YD-2EXIIS RWD drift car kits

Yokomo have introduced the latest incarnation of their popular YD-2 RWD drift chassis, the YD-2EXIIS standard black and limited red edition. Both kits include an impressive amount of the latest upgrade parts including the new curved slide rack steering system that provides a smooth, precise and consistent steering feeling through to the highest of steering angles. This has been made possible thanks to a no-bump-steer design that also allows to adjust the caster and KPI options without affecting steering angle over bumpy parts of the track. In addition to the standard black edition Yokomo will issue a 300-piece red anodised limited edition. Both kits will become availably by end of February.

Rebellion-RC X1 multi wheelbase rear pod kit

Coming from RC-Carbonstore’s Rebellion-RC brand is a new multi wheelbase rear pod set for the Xray X1 formula kits. The set allows to enlarge the wheelbase by 2.5mm or 5.0mm, shifting the car’s weight bias further towards the front which can lead to improved steering characteristics. In addition the lever-moment of the centre shock gets longer, leading to softer damping and better absorption of curbs and bumps. Several side tube positions allow to fine-tune the cornering characteristics and the set, machined from high-quality carbon fibre also includes longer WTC mount side plates. The rear pod kit comes for the 2015 to 2019 variants of the X1 and it is available in a total of twelve carbon weave colours.

TLR 8ight-X quick change engine mount & swaybars

Team Losi Racing have announced new option parts for their 8ight-X 1/8th scale nitro and electric buggies. First up is a quick change engine mount set that helps to speed up engine installation and removal. The multi-piece construction consists of a single-piece lower base as separate engine mounts that ensure the engine base stay in place during engine removal, retaining the chosen gear mesh when the engine is removed. Steel pins in the base ensure the engine blocks, that keep being attached to the crank case, slides right back into place when the engine is refitted. The mount comes machined from high-quality aluminium, it comes hard anodised and laser-etched. Beside the full set TLR also offers a set of engine mounts that can be attached to spare engines, ensuring precise gear mesh setting even after swapping power plants. Also new is a 4-piece set of front and rear swaybars. Coming as 2.2mm and 2.4mm front as well as 2.6mm and 2.8mm variants, the so called “even” set allows to make finer adjustments to the swaybar setup.
