The Open class of 70 drivers was split into two groups based on practice times, and each group then had its own Reedy format event for the remainder of the weekend.

The motors feature higher tolerance and more durable components, which helps facilitate a lower resistance, longer lasting motor. A variety of turns are available and each motor is built to the highest of standards. The motors are bench tested and the lightweight design features upgraded bearings and symmetrical vent openings, which in conjunction with the case and stator structure further reduces motor temperature and maximises efficiency.
