Sunpadow continue to bolster up their factory team with high-class drivers, with the latest addition being multi-time BRCA national champion, Olly Jefferies. The Schumacher driver maintained a clean sweep record in the 2018 nationals season and he will be using Sunpadow LiPo batteries from now on while also helping with R&D and marketing in Europe.

RC Cars Cavalieri from Germany has introduced new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated RC8B3.1 buggy in the form of a LiPo box and an air filter guard. The LiPo box is a direct replacement for the standard composite battery mount, offering improved protection from dust, stones and moisture. The box bolts into place using the original mounting positions and it is available now. Also new is a carbon fibre air filter guard that attaches to the RC8B3.1’s fuel tank, ensuring improved protection from spilled fuel or the fuel bottle’s nozzle.
Adding to their already released 3-D-printed wing mounts for for touring car body shells such as the Protoform Type-S, Mon-Tech Racer and Bittydesign JP8, is Arena RC Racing’s new Protoform D9 wing mount. The insert was designed to reinforce the wing stay area for improved durability in crashes while also helping with downforce as both the body and wing can be more securely fastened. The mounts come as pairs and their honeycomb design ensures a low overall weight.

Coming soon from Highest is the new D1000 Pro HV standard-size servo. Housed in an all-aluminium case with a heatsink middle section, the servo is usable with 6.0V to 7.4V input and it is able to pull up to 15.1kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.08s. It weighs in at 75.3g and comes with an all-black receiver wire for Pro looks.

Traxxas have introduced their new VR46 Fiesta ST and LaTrax VR46 Rally RTR kits as part of a cooperation with Valentino Rossi, known to his fans as “The Doctor”, recognised around the world as one of the greatest MotoGP racers in history with nine Grand Prix World Championships under his belt. The 1/10th scale VR46 Fiesta ST is specially tuned with a low centre of gravity chassis and oil-filled Ultra Shocks to be agile on the track. When the pavement ends, its full-time 4WD, long-travel suspension, and rally-bred tyres dig in for ultra-fast bumper-to-bumper racing action. The powerful Titan 550 motor muscles his driver to the front of the pack and waterproof electronics allow authentic all-weather racing.
T-Works have introduced the soon release of new front bumper foams for the Yokomo BD9 touring car. Available as standard and extra hard variant, both offer exceptional chassis and body protection, however it is understood that they differ in weight, allowing to simply fine-tune the chassis’s weight bias.
