Team C have new aluminium spring retainers for their 1/10th on-road cars available. The parts come CNC-machined from high-quality material, they are orange anodised to match the remainder of the alloy parts and they fit both the TC10 and TR10.

ARC introduce the R8.0 1/8th scale nitro on-road kit. Developed over a period of 18 month and under racing conditions, the newly designed car is based on a slim aluminium chassis and it features bulkheads made from 7075-T6 aluminium for high precision and optimised strength. The transmission parts are manufactured from heat-treated spring steel to minimise wear and maintenance needs while the belt pulleys are designed in a way that they do not need additional adapters to fit on their respective shafts which makes for a much lighter drivetrain. Moulded from high quality composite material the pulleys are also available in a Kevlar variant for improved durability, a lower weight and increased transmission smoothness. The gearbox package is rounded out by module 0.8 spur and pinion gears that allow for high efficiency without sacrificing durability.

Italian company BMT have announced the signing of Robin D’Hondt to their team. Robin will use the BMT 984 1/8th scale car after being with Motonica for six years and he has the following to say about the deal:
To begin with I would like to thank Maurizio Ficcadenti for the cooperation over the last 6 years with him and Motonica. It was time for me to go a new way and in in this I choose to drive the BMT 984 car next season. I have already built the car and I am very content with the quality of the product as well I am sure to have a good cooperation with Pasquale Iuliucci who I wish to thank for this opportunity. Yokomo have announced the signing of Germany’s Oliver Franke to their team. The multiple ETS Pro Stock winner and podium finisher is backed by several stock class titles and he will race both nationally and internationally in his 2015 campaign that will include the ETS, LRP TCM and selected national events. Oliver has the following to say:
My goals for this season are to participate at international events like the ETS, LRP TCM and also National events, to get the best out of the car and help strengthen Yokomo’s presence in the Pro Stock category. I would like to thank Team Yokomo’s Robert Itoh and Yukijiro Umino for giving me the opportunity to become a member of a very strong team. I am looking forward to many international events and being successful there. So far I am very impressed with the solid build and awesome quality.

The HotRace Winter Shootout took place in Chiari, Italy this past weekend in 1/10th Electric Touring Car and 1/12th pan car classes. The event attracted some of the best Italian drivers and illustrious foreign guests such as Alexander Hagberg, Marc Rheinard, Viktor Wilck, Kyle Branson, Marco Kaufmann, Thilo Thodmann and the newly crowned 4-time back-to-back ETS champion Ronald Völker. The Touring Car Modified class’ triple A-mains proved to be extremely intense, with the drivers offering a fantastic show on the tight and technical track. Ronald Völker, starting from the pole position, ultimately won the race from 2nd placed Alexander Hagberg and Kyle Branson who rounded out the podium.
