The fifth round of the South Swedish Indoor Cup was held in Hasselholm in the three classes of Touring Car Modified, Stock 17.5T Blinky and Formula. The race was held on a small and technical track and in the Modified class it was Daniel Carlsson who finished the day on top after grabbing the pole position for the finals. Christian Holmström came in 2nd while Kenneth Carlsson rounded out the podium on the 3rd spot.

Ride introduce the Rex34 Ver2 touring car asphalt wheel. The rubber compound and orange moulded insert remain the same but the pre-glued wheels come with a redesigned disc rim that offers optimised moulding, an updated and more shock resistant material, an improved tyre fit, a reinforced hub and an improved glueing process to make for higher precision. The ver2 wheels come in sets of four and they are available now.

The Spanish National Series is a new electric on-road race series for all drivers who seek fun racing with easy rules. Run in a Modified Touring, 10.5T Stock Touring and a 21.5T Formula class with control tyres, handout tyre additive, cleaner as well as rental motors for the Stock classes the 4-race series starts on March 1st at the RB36 Arena in Barcelona and concludes on September 12th in Puerto de Santa Maria, Cardiz. IFMAR World Champion Alexander will continue to run Hot Race tyres for the upcoming season, the Swede announced. Using the tyres to grab the 2014 1/12th Euros title and the 2015 Snowbird Nationals Alex will use the Italian rubber in the 2015 season that will include appearances in 1/8th, 1/10th and 1/12th scale classes. Alex has the following to say about the deal:
After some success with Hot Race tires over the last year, where I managed to win the 2014 European Championships, as well as the 2015 Snowbird Nationals, among many other titles, I have decided to continue to run exclusively Hot Race tires in 1/10, 1/12 and 1/8 categories. I will do my best to push for good results also in the future events, as well as give my input into development of their foam- and rubber tire lines. Capricorn have a new hard foam bumper available for the TE03 touring car. The alternative to the standard soft foam offers improved body support at high speeds and it can also offer improved protection when the going gets tough.

New from GRP come the Evolution V11 2015 touring car rubber tyres. Available pre-mounted on white disc rims the 2015 spec tyre features a new carbon composite belt and they are available in two carpet and two asphalt-specific compounds. The carpet C28 and C32 tyres are built using a lightweight insert while the A32 and A36 asphalt variants use a medium moulded insert. Markings on the outside of the wheel help with easy identification and the tyres are available in sets of four.

Contact Tyres have announced their international race team for the 2015 season. Beside long term multiple champion drivers Robert Pietsch and Simon Kurzbuch, former 1/10th 200mm European A and B Champion Alessio Mazzeo was added to the factory team. Robert, Simon and Alessio will attend most of the international races like including the IFMAR World and EFRA European Championships, the ENS and the respective National Championships.
