British 1:10 offroad specialist manufacturer Willspeed has released a new 31g brass one piece under lipo weight for its RF3 1:10 2WD Conversion kits. With their machined conversation kits available for both the Team Associated B6.4 and TLR 22 5.0, they also offer a removable 37g Brass Radio Tray giving racers the option to further lower the centre of gravity of the buggy.
To celebrate the 6th anniversary of the establishment of the brand, servo manufacturer AGFRC has released a series of colourful case servo called 2023 Specific Edition Servo. Not just a striking and colourful casing, they have also undergone a new technical treatment process continuing the premium quality and performance of the servos. Each servo has a full aluminium CNC case and structure, combined with metal ball bearings and gear chain. All six servos in the 2023 Specific Edition include an aluminium horn in the package box. Specialists in parts for vintage RC racing, Moto-Obscura has released a brand new aluminium front bulkhead for the iconic Losi XX4 4wd buggy. Adding to their collection of other vintage racing parts, this piece provides a much more rigid attachment to the chassis than the stock plastic part, and ties the front of the buggy together to form a solid platform for the front suspension. It also does away with the flimsy plastic bumper, while adding some much needed weight to the front of the vehicle. The bulkhead is machined from super sturdy 7075-T6 Aluminium alloy, and finished in a beautiful matte black anodising.
New from Team Associated’s optional parts brand Factory Team is this new Ring and Pinion Set for the Element RC Enduro SE 1:10 Crawler. The set provides machined ring and pinion gears for precise mesh fit, and both are made of steel for increased durability. The six mounting screw holes add another level of durability, and the included Golden Grease ensures smooth performance.

The 6th running of the US Buggy Championships took place at Trackside Hobbies in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, over the weekend with Chase Lemieux completing the buggy double. A track famed for once being owned by the ‘Voice of RC’ Scotty Ernst, this year’s event attracted 220 entries. In qualifying Lemieux, the son of former international onroad ace Paul, would take the TQ honours with Tyler Whitt his closest rival in both 2WD and 4WD. Decided over single A-Mains, the Xray driver would fully capitalise on pole position winning 2WD by 2-seconds from the Xray of Whitt with Casey Blasczyk completing the podium. In 4WD, again Lemieux led home Whitt over the 8-minute main with Matt Sunderlage finishing third.

The BRCA British 1:10 Offroad National Championships kicked off at Robin Hood Raceway over the weekend with a double victory for Team Associated in the hands of Neil Cragg in 2WD and Tommy Hall in 4WD. The first date on the 6 round National calendar, Saturday’s action would decide 2WD with qualifying seeing former World Champion Cragg taking the overall TQ from Jamie Hall, Josh Holsworth and Tommy Hall. In the finals on the astro surface track, Cragg failed to capitalise on his pole position starting position as Jamie Hall took the win ahead him but the reigning Champion made amends in A2 and A3 winning both to open his 2023 season on maximum points ahead of Jamie and Tommy Hall. In 4WD, it was Tommy Hall who was Top Qualifier after 6 rounds of heats ahead of Cragg and Schumacher’s Lee Martin. Hall took all three A-Mains with Martin able to get the better of Cragg to secure second overall.

Mayako has introduced new suspension mounts and screw type inner hinge pins for increased strength on its MX8 1:8 Buggy. The new mounts feature oval holes in the blocks which will allow the screw type hinge pin to go through and be tightened with a M4 lock nut. The mounts are assembled in the same way like the previous one, the hinge pin is the only difference. The 4mm Hinge Pins make the car more sturdy and durable in hard impacts and will prevent the suspension mounts to split and have the old “captured” design hinge pin pop out.

Hasi Tuned, the engine tuning brand set-up by top international Swiss onroad racer Silvio Hächler, has released this Rear Back Plate for O.S. Engine V-FUEL Type. Their latest back plate creation, it is designed to increase mid to high range power and also increases fuel efficiency and quicker return to idling. The back plate can be used with on relevant offroad and onroad engines from O.S.
