JConcepts resealable storage bags

JConcepts know a thing or two about travelling to races so to help keep things organised they have released these resealable storage bags. Organising tyres, spare parts and accessories provides additional space in carry luggage and can also help preserve tires for later race events. The conveniently sized storage bag features a durable material, carrying handle and decorated with JConcepts Speed Laboratory design. Store buggy, truck, SCT and 1:8 buggy tyres side-by-side for the most compact arrangement. Zip the top, write the details of each tire set into the notes section located on the back of the bag and store for another race day. The resealable storage bags are packaged 10 pieces per package, have multiple entry points for notes and look more professional to and from the racetrack.

PRO1RC Tires enters 1:8 Offroad Market

American company PRO1RC has announced its entry into the US tyre market with the launch of a US designed range of 1:8 Offroad tyres. PRO1RC Tires will initially offer four buggy models for all track conditions, the DIRT-00, DIRT-01, DIRT-02, DIRT-03 with Truggy versions to follow shortly. As a new entrant into the USA market they say they will be the first brand that will offer customers to buy the tyres separately from the insert, an option they highlight will save customers money as they can recycle previous insert. In terms of the tyre design one feature is they covered the inside with some bridges that cross the entire tyre which they claim saw made the tyre become much more consistent with the passing of the laps than just with the usual 3 lines, and, it resulted in extended tyre life. Another feature they have implement in the design are the sidewalls of the tyres, adding 40% more bridges, this helps to be able to accelerate much more strongly in the corner supports.

Reds Racing Rotary Backplate

Reds Racing has finally released its RTX Rotary Backplate which the Italian engine brand claim is an engineering masterpiece that will revolutionise the world of RC Model Nitro Engines. Developed by Marco and Mario Rossi in collaboration with some of the best RC drivers in the world, the backplate aims to increase engine power and improve stability at idle speed thanks to a drastic reduction in friction between the connecting rod and backplate. Reds Racing was one of the first companies in the world to work on reducing the friction between the backplate connecting rod with the introduction of DLC coating on the backplate. This time their engineers have invented something unique in the RC model market, destined to be considered one of the most innovative solutions of the last 30 years. Contrary to what happens for traditional RC engines, where the connecting rod slides on the backplate producing sliding friction, in the RTX Backplate the connecting rod is in contact with a special steel plate that can rotate together with the conrod thanks to the fact that it is mounted on two special high speeds ball bearings. The backplate is designed, made and tested in Italy respecting the best quality standards. It is currently only available as an optional part and suitable only for Reds Racing engines on road and off road.

Servo manufacturer AGFRC has just released this low impedance capacitor module with 2000uF high capacity. AGFRC CNP2000C comes with high precision CNC machining aluminium case for excellent heat dissipation. Ultra-small size and light weight , ideal for mini scale car, touring car and drifter. With a maximum voltage of up to 16V this helps with voltage spikes or use with HV batteries. With its non-polar feature, it is more safe and convenient for operation. Each cord attaches to the battery positive/negative connection terminal on the ESC or receiver.

T-Works 22X-4 Carbon Top & Steering Plates

T-works has added a number of new carbon plates for use on TLR 22X-4 1:10 4WD Buggy. Machined from carbon fibre they are offering two versions of top plate, one based of the original design and a V2 option that has more flex characteristics. Also offered for the 22X-4 is a carbon steering plate that helps reduce weight and add to the over look of the buggy.

JConcepts long snout 17mm wrench

JConcepts has released this 17mm long snout wheel wrench for use on all 17mm wheel nut applications. The uniqueness of this long snout allows the reach to those deep offset wheels such as JConcepts’ Aggressor wheels. The injection molded wrench is durable to a light-handed touch and can be used for many vehicles in the RC bash and performance world. The MIBO Duo Racing AC/DC 200W Charger/Discharger allows you to charge common battery types, plus it is equipped with built-in six-channel balancers to ensure safe charging of lithium batteries. The charger is equipped with a colour LCD display and a programming wheel and button, which provide you with the possibility of comfortable and fast parameter setting, control and monitoring of the charging process. In addition to the compact “palm-sized” design and intuitive operation, it is worth a special mention that it has a program for new types of high-voltage LiHV batteries with a terminal voltage for charging up to 4.35 V. It offers the possibility of synchronous operation of both channels for charging two identical batteries. Adjustable charging end voltage for lithium batteries allows the gentle charging that aviators like, or the brutal overcharging that “car guys” like.
