Mario Rigert wins 2012 Swiss TC championship

The fifth and final round of the Swiss national touring car championship was held at the track of Lostallo. After an all wet Saturday and Sunday morning the weather got better for the finals on Sunday afternoon. Markus Streuli started from pole position with Mario Rigert in second spot and Daniel Ghirlanda in third position. As the finals were the only rounds of the whole weekend with dry conditions, it was difficult for everyone to find a good pace from the start. Mario managed to win two out of the three A finals. The win of the final round secured Mario the race victory and his fifth modified touring car title as well. Xray team mate Steven Deyhle took the runner-up spot and Antonino Mangiaracina came in third.
