JConcepts 2012 Chevy Silverado for Traxxas Rustler

JConcepts 2012 Chevy Silverado for Traxxas Rustler

JConcepts introduces the 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 body for the Traxxas Rustler. Starting with its low-profile design, beefy fenders and noteworthy Silverado appearance, the 1500 body is inspired by the looks of a class leading full-size pick-up, loaded with performance features. Fitting directly on the popular Traxxas Rustler line of vehicles, the Chevy 1500 is just what you have been looking for. The JConcepts body is a racer starting with the slammed look and blended 1:1 inspired appearance. The Chevy 1500 pops out as a high-voltage performer and packs in the detailed design you have come to expect from JConcepts. Extruded front and rear fender flares for maximum tire and linkage clearance include a slight hood-scoop raised portion to bulk up the front-end. The rear bed has built-in clearance for the Rustler shock tower and shocks to help maintain that sleek appearance. The body comes included with a spoiler on the back of the body mold which can be trimmed and detailed to drop right on the rear and secured with 2 included JConcepts button head screws.

Team Orion signs Renaud Savoya

Team Orion signs Renaud Savoya

Renaud Savoya, who yesterday confirmed he had left RB, has signed for Team Orion. The 3-time European Champion had been with the French brand for 4 years and this move coincides with the Shark’s move to running electric offroad for main sponsor Xray. Reno joins David Ronnefalk on the European team and both will assist Adrien Bertin with the development of the company’s line of engines. Renaud had this to say about the deal.

It’s a real pleasure for me to join Team Orion. I followed for many years their dedication and great results in both electro and nitro classes, and I’m proud to be part of it now. We can’t be anything other than impressed with the professionalism they are bringing to our passion. Working with Adrien is a great opportunity for me, as we live close to each other, and we will have a real connection for developing and working on the nitro engine department. I will of course push as much as I can all the products made by Team Orion in all the classes I’m running! Can’t wait to start racing with my new updated package this week end in Padova for Italian Job! Don’t mess with the Shark!
