New from Tuning Haus comes a range of aluminium and carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated TC6.1 and TC6.2. First up are front aluminium C-hubs as a direct replacement for the TC6.2 plastic parts. They offer increased durability and reliability over the plastic hubs and the lower hinge pin is anchored by a 2.5mm set screw to reduce unwanted play and improve handling, while caster is fixed at four degrees, eliminating the need for plastic inserts. Reflex Racing’s RSD bulkhead braces for the Team Associated TC6.2 were developed in order to change the flex characteristics of the car. By bracing the bulkheads at the top deck screws, the flex points of the chassis are moved closer to the centre line, which increases high speed stability and control. Additionally the braces provide more on power traction at whichever end they are being used. During this week’s International Indoor Championships IIC Protoform is testing a new and yet unnamed carpet bodyshell for 190mm sedans. Mounted to Juho Levänen’s Team Associated TC6.2 the body appears to be of quite an aggressive design with a large front splitter and a pronounced bumper, grille and headlight section. Exotek now have a spring perch set for Team Associated’s TC6 series of electric touring cars available. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming blue anodised the lightweight parts offer improved strength over the stock composite cups while adding some bling at the same time. Milled holes also help debris from collecting inside when running on dusty parking lot tracks. Avid have a range of optional carbon fibre parts for the Xray T4, Team Associated TC6.2 and the Yokomo BD7 available. The line-up includes 2.0mm carbon chassis, 2.0mm and 1.5mm top decks, as well as 2.0mm shock towers with all parts being direct replacements for the kit items. The chassis allow to lower the centre of gravity and the roll centres more than stock and they are specially cut to ensure equal twisting resistance side to side. Reflex Racing introduce the RSD lightweight suspension kit for the Team Associated TC6.2 touring car. The parts not only shave weight, but also offer a revised geometry, with the front arms being wider and the rears being narrower, which makes the car more consistent and faster over a full race compared to the stock components. Made for the RSD7 chassis for the Team Associated TC6.2 is this keyed carbon fibre battery holder system.
