This 3-port 3.5cc engine has already received rave reviews from teams competing in the 2011 UK Endurance Masters, where the Enduro was the control engine for 15 teams in the non-stop 6-hour race. Team C have released an update to their TC02 2wd buggy and have called it the Evo. The new version follows the current trend by going with a 6mm longer chassis as well as a newly design cab forward body shell. We are told it will be available from this month.

Reds Racing have released their new R5 .21 Buggy engine, a 5 port powerful and lightweight motor. Thanks to the new long needle carburetor and its new ABC liner configuration, the engine is extremely driveable and is suitable for all types of track. It also features a CNC machined billet piston, hard chromed liner, a separate cooled combustion chamber and Swiss main bearings.

The TP1430C is a powerful and advanced multi-chemistry charger, discharger and balancing system. With up to 1000 watts of total charging power the TP1430C is equipped to charge, discharge and cycle a variety of 1-14S LiPo, LiIon and LiFe (A123) batteries, as well as 1-40 cell NiCd and NiMH along with 6-48V Pb batteries. The built-in 2-14S LiPo/LiIon/LiFe (A123) cell balancer and included balance connector adapter board are readily compatible with Thunder Power balance connectors and the JST-XH balance connectors found on most other batteries. The TP1430C is capable of charging at rates up to 30 amps offering the ability to charge many of the latest-generation LiPo batteries at ultra-fast rates up to 6C and beyond. Other features include built-in data monitoring and internal resistance measurement, plus the ability to use a standard USB cable to install future firmware updates available for free download from the company’s website.

Numan Thielke & Denney take JConcepts Indoor Nats titles

Announced early 2011, the JConcepts Indoor National Championship Series consisted of four rounds at various indoor track locations across the nation. The series started out in St. Louis, Missouri, at SmacTrac, then moved out West to OC/RC in Huntington Beach, California, and then up the coast to Outback Raceway in Chico, California, before rounding out at RC Excitement in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Gaining points at each round, drivers competed to become the first Indoor National Series Champion.

Barry Pettit wins JConcepts Southern Nationals

For the 2nd year in a row the JConcepts Southern Nationals was a sell-out. 325 total entries turned out to West Monroe, Louisiana for a battle in the Mid South. A completely fresh track built inside the IKE Hamilton Expo Center amazed racers upon arrival. Friday started with an open practice session and drivers packed the drivers stand in hopes of finding that perfect setup and magical tire combination for Saturdays qualifying.

Sidewinder Nitro Explosion wins for Maifield & Cavalieri

New ventures bring new challenges and Team Associated’s Ryan Maifield and Ryan Cavalieri rose to the occasion. With the Sidewinder Nitro Explosion moving to ARC Raceway in Temecula, CA, many racers were seeing the facility for the first time. Taking the top two grid positions in the Expert Gas Buggy, Ryan Maifield starting on pole for the 35-minute gas final with team mate Ryan Cavalieri on the second spot. From the start, The Ryans checked out from a star-studded field. Battling till the end, Ryan Maifield and his LRP powered, JConcepts equipped RC8.2 out-dueled teammate Ryan Cavalieri’s Pro-Line-equipped RC8.2. However, not to be left out of the winner’s circle, Ryan Cavalieri made good on his Top Qualifying position in the Expert Electric Buggy class by takingĀ  home the win with his soon-to-be-released LRP iX8 speed control and eBuggy converted RC8.2. Honorable mention also goes to Cavalieri for a second place finish in Expert Gas Truggy with the ROAR National Champion Maifield finishing a respectable fourth.

The RC8.2e has already been proven as a winner after TQing and winning the 2011 Sidewinder Nitro Explosion in the capable hands of Ryan Cavalieri. The RC8.2e Factory Team Kit has a long list of new performance parts, making for the best and lightest Associated EP 1:8 scale buggy to date. The RC8.2e starts with the Factory Team +3mm 7075 hard anodized chassis. The new chassis and side-guards shed over half an ounce along with adding 3mm of length to optimize weight distribution and overall handling.
