More new products from KM racing who have released this new front bumper plate for their H-K1. Made from carbon fibre, the plate is lightweight, strong and also looks great, coming supplied with the aluminium posts and shims to mount it. KM have also released a 6V 1100mAh NiMh AAA receiver battery for extended run time.
Yokomo have been in touch to tell us about the new tire truer wheel adapter for their newly available R12 1/12th scale foam pre mounted tires. As the rear wheels have a different offset to all of those found on the market, it needs this special adapter to work with your current tire truer.

Jun’s RC company has released a titanium front upper arm mount for the Mugen MRX5. CNC machined from titanium alloy, this lightweight upper arm mount provides additional durability in the event of a crash without the additional weight.

Contact RC tires have announce that Robert Pietsch will drive for them during the 2011 season. Robert has already won the European Championship title in 1/8th On Road in 2010, the German 1/8th Nationals and finished 3rd at the European Championship 1/10th with Contact tires. Robert has been testing hard with the new tires and has been enthusiastic from the start and has now made the agreement official. Big races coming up include the IFMAR Pre Worlds in Miami, taking place right now, the World Championship in April, as well as the European championship for 1/8th and 1/10th. He will also attend the Contact tires trophy that will take place in Fiorano, Italy from the 12th to 13th of March.

New for the H-K1 1/10th 200mm chassis, KM Racing have released this complete line of rear anti-roll bars. The anti-roll bar wires are now available in 1.8mm, 1.9mm, 2.0mm, 2.1mm, 2.2mm & 2.3mm thicknesses to give you the possibility to fine tune your chassis for any track conditions.

Last weekend saw the second running of the Italian GP in Brescia, Italy. This year the entries were around 80 drivers, divided in two different classes, Sport (10.5 motor limit) and Open. Top drivers like Ronald Volker, Alexander Hagberg, Eric Dankel and Daniele Ielasi decided to join the race along with Andreas Myrberg, Carsten Anghel and Umberto Pernice. The race format covered three days with Friday for practice and timed practice, Saturday for 4 round of qualification and Sunday for 1 qualification round and three finals.

Round three of the Kick Energy Drink sponsored Ardent Winter series took place at the weekend at the popular indoor Ardent venue in Derbyshire. Leading the series going in to round three was a very on form Olly Jefferies, driving his Associated TC6. Olly continued his good form and took TQ ahead of the Tamiya of Elliott Harper and the Hot Bodies of Andy Moore. In the finals it was Olly that went on to take maximum points for round three with a third place and a win, Andy had a poor second final and this allowed Johnny Aird to come through from fifth on the grid to finish third behind Elliott Harper.

Capricorn RC have released a number of new items including this candy coloured front bumper for the LAB-C01. The foam used in the front bumper is a new heavier type for better protection and the colour helps you easily identify the different types. Also for the LAB-C01 is a set of calibrated camber shims in different thicknesses for multiple setting possibilities. Finally Capricorn have released new body shell decals with all the various logos, including the upcoming LAB-C801, to adorn your body shell.
