Adrien Bertin wins French 8th Nats Rd1

The opening round of the French 1/8th scale National series was held last weekend in Toulouse in the south west of France, close to Spain. The race saw 63 drivers entered separated between Elite and National classes and the weather for the event was cold but dry for most of the event. Chaussard wins 1/10 French Nats Rd5

While the 1/8th boys were racing in Niort, the 5th and final round of the 1/10th 200mm French National championship was underway in Manspach, close to the German Swiss border. Qualifying saw Xray driver Arnaud Chaussard take top honours in the Elite class while in the National class it was another Xray driver Jean Baptiste Geneau on top. Siegfried wins French 1/8 Nats Rd5

…at the front, eventually winning from Jérôme Papaconstantinos in 2nd and Jacky Mouton ending in 3rd. This win gave Siegfried the 2008 French Elite National title. In the National class it was Romain Baehrel that took the win, clinching the class title, from Gérald Colinet in 2nd and Jérôme Berthelot in 3rd. Concialdi wins 1/10 French Nats Rd4

The 4th round of the French 1/10th scale 200mm Nationals was run last weekend at the Besancon track in the East of the country. Saturday’s qualifying runs were run in dry conditions and it was Basile Concialdi that took the pole position in the Elite class in front of Xray team mate Arnaud Chaussard in 2nd, while Thomas Eytard and Mickael Pontal rounded out the top 4. S. Bouche wins French 1/8 Nats Rd4

Round 4 of the French 1/8th scale National Championship was hosted last weekend by the CMB club in Ferrière aux Etangs. Weather was fine for most of the event but the rain eventually came just before the finals, but the track had dried by the time the Elite final took the track. Chaussard wins 1/10 French Nats Rd3

Last weekend saw the third round of the French 1/10th scale Nationals run at the 330m long AMCO track in Brest, in the very North West tip of France. Qualifying for the National class saw Kyosho racer Romain Jaureguy claim the pole position from Maxime Favrelle in 2nd and Frédéric Bourillon in 3rd, while in the Elite class it was round 2 winner Arnaud Chaussard on the top spot, putting his NT1 in front of team mates Thomas Eytard and Basile Concialdi. A. Siegfried wins French 1/8 Nats Rd3

The third round of the French 1/8th scale on road Nationals was run last weekend at the Circuit Carole in Aulnay, just outside the city of Paris. In Saturday’s qualifying for the Elite class it was round 2 winner Richard Volta that was top qualifier, running on his favourite track he placed ahead of Adrien Siegfried in 2nd, Romain Picard in 3rd and Nicolas Guillet in 4th. 2008 Kyosho Masters – Announcement

Kyosho Europe have been in contact to tell us about this years Kyosho Masters, a unique event that has been running since 1999. This year, the 10th Anniversary, will take place at Sucy-en-Brie near Paris from June 19th to 22nd, and will be open to the usual 3 classes – Elite, Expert and League, plus the ever growing Truggy class.
