Kyosho Inferno ST-RR truggy

Kyosho have just announced the follow up to their ST-R truggy which was introduced in early 2006, with the announcement that this October will see the release of the new ST-RR competition truggy. The ST-RR is the culmination of a year and half of racing and rigorous R&D and the result is the most refined racing truck on the market. As the 2007 Silver State Champion, the ST-RR is poised to take it to the competition on a whole new level. Kyosho release new option parts

Kyosho have announced the release of some new products for both the Inferno 1/8th scale buggy and truggy as well as a new piece for the V-One RRR 1/10th 200mm. First up is the release of the long anticipated big bore shocks for the Inferno which were first seen at the Silver State race in March and caused great excitement amonst Kyosho racers. Released with these shocks are a number of new pistons and also new shock springs that have a larger diameter to fit on the new shock bodies and they are available in purple (look blue to me)…

JConcepts Illuzion Kyosho 777 WC body

More Illuzion bodies from JConcepts, this time for the Kyosho Inferno MP777, it comes available in either standard or heavy duty polycarbonate. This WC body features enhanced hard edge side pod styling with runner flow channels on the sides designed to move the air more efficiently to the wing. The roof of the body has been dramatically wedged and Illuzionized for that aggressive look while the front of the body has less of a transition from hood to window which gives it a more dramatic look. Kyosho release Evolva & MP777 Optionals

Kyosho France have a number of new optionals for the Evolva and Inferno MP777 displayed on their website that have just been made available. First up for the Evolva are these pretty cool looking setup wheels, which are pretty unique in that its rare to see them for 1/8th circuit cars. They are sold in a set of 4, feature a rubber o-ring around the circumference and are anodised grey. Bertin to debut .21 CRF at Kyosho Masters

This weekend sees all the top Kyosho buggy racers from all around the World converge at the RC94 track near Paris for the 2007 Kyosho Masters. Our partners RC Mag are there all weekend covering the event and already they have spotted some points of interest including new parts for the Inferno buggy, that include the big bore shocks that have been seen before, but more interestingly the new .21 CRF buggy motor has been spotted in the Kyosho of Adrien Bertin. Kyosho Inferno ST-R long conversion set

Kyosho have released details of their soon to be available ST-R long conversion set, which is suitable for the Inferno truggy. This new long wheelbase conversion, which is 2.5mm longer than the original version, provides the truggy with more stability as well as an optimised center of gravity and the main part is of course the chassis plate, which is a CNC machined, champagne anodised, plate that is ultra stiff and very durable. Peterson & Neuspeed dominate the Hank Perry 240

…in its 21st year and is one of the largest races in the Northwest. Now Kyosho have been in contact to let us know that their team driver Taylor Peterson qualified third in truggy with his long wheelbase Kyosho ST-R, but quickly ran to the front and checked out, lapping the while field for a decisive win, Peterson also TQ’ed and won the 1/10 truck gas truck class. King & Lutz win at JBRL Round 2

…the JBRL Nitro Series held at the Thunder Alley race track in Southern California. King’s Sirio-powered Inferno 777 WC was one of four Kyosho cars in the final – three powered by Sirio engines. King took top honors in the buggy class, with Kyosho cars taking three of the top four positions. Kyosho team driver Ryan Lutz dominated the 1/8 Truck class again, wheeling his Sirio-powered Kyosho ST-R to a second consecutive TQ and win in this series.
