KO Propo EX-10 Eurus 2.4GHz Radio system

Due to be introduced at the Tokyo Hobby Show this weekend, KO Propo will release the EX-10 Eurus, 2.4GHz pistol grip radio which features the company’s Direct Digital System (D.D.S). This new system employs high quality communication by removing the data and time loss caused by digital to analog conversion which results in 300% better response when compared to a conventional system. A newly designed 3D trigger allows for moving the brake trigger, meaning fingers of different sizes and operation are supported. ICS Settings of the Eurus body as well as PDS series of servos and VFS series of ESCs can all be set up through the module pack using the multi setting adapter with optional cards. Expect it to start shipping in December.

Exotek Racing HBX LiPo Chassis for Cyclone

Exotek Racing HBX LiPo Chassis for Cyclone

Exotek Racing have released the high performance multi adjustment HBX balanced LiPo chassis for the Hot Bodies Cyclone. With the unique CNC manufactured stainless steel weights the LiPo battery can be positioned to have equal left and right balance within grams without the need to add lead weight and without raising the battery up higher. Completely compatible with all Cyclone chassis’, it is designed and tested to equalize lateral flex. No more inconsistent flex problems caused by 6 large battery cut outs like in the stock chassis resulting is much more predictable handling. The 2mm thick chassis mimics the flex of the stock chassis, but by deleting the 6 NiMh battery cut outs it effectively stiffens the chassis so reducing the thickness to 2mm puts a little flex back into the chassis for improved traction.

Azri Amri wins Malaysian Nationals Rd3

Round 3 of the Malaysian National Championship (MNC) took place recently at the usual venue at Titiwangsa Track in the heart of kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its been a few months since round 2 and there have been quite a number of changes to the drivers line up and the big news is of course the return of Azri Amri to the electric touring scene who is now driving for Team ORCA Racing with his Yokomo BD5. The other driver who has made a switch is Mr. Jackie Siow, the 2008 MNC Overall Champion and now driving for Team ORCA and Xray. The weather is as usual, not too sunny in the morning and all racers were hoping that the weather would hold up long enough to be able to complete the full race distance as there was a tendency to rain in the afternoon in Malaysia. The first qualifying saw Azri, Jackie and Tamiya driver Norazam finish the qualifying in those positions and as the weather got better, the sun came out and warrmed the track slightly and thus prevented any of the drivers to better their times in later rounds.
