Papadakis wins Greek 1/5th Nats Rd3

We received a brief report from the 3rd round of the Greek 1/5th scale Nationals, a class we rarely cover, which took place last weekend at the FRT race track in Athens. The 30 minute final saw an exciting battle between all 8 cars, with the top spot being fought over between Dimitris Papadakis, FG team mate Kwstas Giannitsas and HARM racer Tasos Papadopoulos. In the end it was Papadakis who would take the win, setting the fastest lap of the race, with Giannitsas in 2nd and Papadopoulos taking 3rd.

Robitronic Aluminium Servo-arms

Robitronic Aluminium Servo-arms

Robitronic now offers a new lineup of sturdy and ultra-reliable servo-arms. These new items are not your average run-off-the-mill alloy servo-horn, because they add a clever clamping mechanism that grips the servo’s spline with enough force, so that you’ll never lose or strip another servo arm again. Even if the servo’s spline-screw works itself loose, you can safely keep on racing since our clamp-style servo arms will still provide a firm grip. Available in 4 different versions and in 23T, 24T, 25T splines, each arm is laser-etched with the spline number and Robitronic logo.

Xray XB808 Lightweight Diff Outdrive adapters

Xray XB808 Lightweight Diff Outdrive adapters

Previously available for the Active diff on the XB808, Xray have released these lightweight outdrive adapters for the standard front & rear differentials. Made from Hudy spring steel, one of the toughest steel material available, the outdrives have been strategically machined to be lighter than the standard versions, while their special elongated design secures the drive shafts so they do not fall out in heavy jumps. CNC-machined on precision German long-turn machines they are additionally ground and strategically lightened to reduce rotating weight, then further hardened to ensure maximum strength and extra-long lifespan. Final precision hand-grinding ensures a very high tolerance to ensure an ultra-smooth tight fit in the diff body and diff gear.
