Nejc Mihelic wins at Alpe Adria Cup

The first round of the Alpe Adria Cup took place last weekend at the Stöhr-Ring in Graz, Austria. The race saw the attendance of drivers from Slovenia, Hungary, Italy and Austria and was run in 1/8th and 1/10th nitro on-road classes. In the 1/8th class Jernej Vuga (Xray/Reds) took TQ but he was not able to conserve his performance in the final and finished in 8th position. West German nitro onroad championship – Preview

The popular Western German Championship is turning into an international competition for the 2014 season with drivers from six nations are fielding the top-level class 1 in 1/8 scale nitro on-road. When the lights will turn green on Sunday at round one in Dormagen, two-time W.C. finalist and former German Champion Robin D’Hondt from Belgium is on top of the newcomers in the regional championship which comprises four rounds of qualifying for the single event German Nationals on the weekend of the 14th of September at the Munster track in the South of Hamburg. Herfried Pucher wins Austrian 1/8th on-road nationals

…issues and Njec had a coming together with another driver resulting in an additional pit stop. At the end, Herfried won the race almost four laps ahead of Njec and Höller Helmut. Laurent Libar wins Luxembourg 1/8 on-road nats Rd5

Round 5 of the Luxembourg 1/8th nitro on-road nationals took place at the LMCC track in Luxembourg. Mixed weather conditions made things interesting and it was Jacques Libar who took the pole position in front of Alexey Yaramishyan and Laurent Libar. The 30-minute main final saw the Xray driver Laurent Libar cross the finishing line in first position, followed by his brother Jacques Libar with Xray in 2nd and Patrick Beltrallo with Motonica in 3rd. Nitro-West-Masters mid-season report

…of the Nitro-West-Masters for the third years now. This basic class goes from strength to strength and is already the class with the highest number of entries at certain events. While Sebastian Scheidweiler (Shepherd) managed to win at Oberhausen followed by Motonica racer Martin Figge and Udo Tappertzhofen (Kyosho), it was Ruediger Hepp, father of Tobias Hepp, who pushed his Xray to victory at his comeback on his home playground at Dueren with Matthias Guenther (Mugen) and Reinhard Zick in second and third. Groskamp wins 2013 1/8th European Championships

…on 78 laps in 1208.48 seconds with Ielasi on 77 laps in 1205.55 seconds with Kurzbuch just .91 seconds behind. Adrian Bertin took the final definite place with the new KM prototype car but Patrick Schafer would have to wait and see if he had made the final. Baggen & Sanza win at RCR Nitro Challenge 2013

The third round of the Belgian nitro on-road nationals took place at the fast track of the Racing Club Roeselare under excellent weather conditions and with a good amount of racers attending. In the 1/8th class that attracted 21 drivers Yves Zoma (Mugen) was the fastest closely followed by Daan Haling (Motonica), Arie Manten (Xray) and Frank Baggen (Serpent). All four pulled 28 laps in qualifying making for some close racing in the finals.
