EDS tools have announced some new additions to their already wide product range with the addition of 2 new wheel nut spinners and 2 new turnbuckle wrenches. The wheel nut spinners have been made using the familiar red anodising on the handle and the spinner comes in both 17mm and 23mm nut sizes, while the turnbuckle wrenches come in 3mm and 5mm sizes.

We have managed to get our hands on the first information about the new, soon to be released, RB Products .12 touring car engine called the RB Concept R3. Rody Roem and the whole team at RB have been busy for many months working on this new motor and believe that it now reaches a new level of power while at the same time keeping the trademark drivability of the RB Concept line-up. This latest engine comes with a new bi-turbo crankshaft with a very aggressive timing, as used by the team drivers during the latest World Championship, and a new 3 port liner. The combustion chamber has been designed to decrease vibration and the fitting with the sleeve has also been improved. The R3 comes with a new lightened low profiled head to improve lower the overall center of gravity which aids the handling of your car. Expect to see this engine hit the shops in late June.

The 2007 Reedy Race of Champions is history for another year and it was Rheinard, Cavalieri and Lewis that took the top honours at the events final run on the Tamiya race track in California. As expected the event attracted a lot of interested people and some of these people had video cameras and so we can now show you some of the action from the event. Last weekend saw the 4th round of the BTCC Championship held at Broxtowe on a glorious weekend and in qualifying it was Hot Bodies racer Elliot Harper that secured the pole position. Harper carried his qualifying pace through into the final and he could go on to win the overall event with a win in an incident filled first final and another win in the second, more straight forward, final.

Last weekend saw the 4th round of the 1/8th scale BRCA National Championship run under sunny skies at the Wombwell track in South Yorkshire. Qualifying saw a tight battle that left Serpent team driver Mark Green at the top of the field, closely followed by team mate, and round 3 winner, Richard Hicklin in 2nd while 3rd place qualifer was Andrew North. At the start of the final Mark Green started to pull away from the rest of the field leaving the real battle to be fought out behind him. Richard Hicklin was in with a shout of a podium, as was Neil Diver until they hit problems leaving Andy North up into 2nd place until a broken plug dropped down the order. At the end of the 30 minuted final it was a clear win for Mark Green with Mugen racer Peter Hastings in 2nd, 3 laps back, while 3rd place went to Serpent racer Tim Wood, a further lap back.
