Xray XB2 aluminium steering optionals

Xray have introduced new aluminium option parts for their XB2 series of off-road buggies. First up is an aluminium steering arm set machined from high-quality 7075-T6 material. The black coated parts feature an added steering linkage mounting position on the right hand arm for an additional steering setup possibility and the set includes two steering arms.

Redcat International Scout II Gen8 AXE Edition crawler

Redcat Racing have introduced their new International Scout II Gen8 AXE Edition RTR crawler. The vehicle is the world’s first Ready-to-Run scale crawler using a brushless motor and ESC as it features a Hobbywing Xerun sensored AXE system including a brushless motor and ESC, Reefs RC 422HD V2 metal gear waterproof servo, and Flysky GT5 6 channel radio. The new Gen8 AXE is all about precision control, as well as durability. The Reefs 422HD V2 steering servo has an extremely high 30kg-cm torque rating for ultimate steering power, while its digital coreless motor offers incredible precision. All of this power and precision is transferred through steel internal gears for durability. This allows the driver to manoeuvre the Gen8 AXE through the toughest obstacles with precision and authority.

VRP D819/E819 V3 rear shock tower

New from VRP is the V3 rear shock tower for the HB Racing D819 and E819 line of buggies. The tower features new shock mounting holes that are mid spaced. This is the newest mounting positions being ran on the HB buggies. Another feature added to the V3 tower is the wing mounting holes. There are sets of holes that allow drovers to use the stock wing mount in the stock locations as well as move them up, or use the MBX8 wing mount for a finer wing height adjustment. The V3 shock tower is available in silver anodised aluminium as well as carbon fibre.

Ryan Cavalieri going full SWorkz

SWorkz have announced the addition of Ryan Cavalieri to their 1/10th scale factory team, meaning the former IFMAR World Champion will be fully SWorkz sponsored for the 2020 season. Already campaigning SWorkz 1/8th scale kits since this season, Ryan recently left the Yokomo 1/10th scale squad he was running for only since this season to now campaigning SWorkz vehicles, such as the S35 1/8th scale and S12 and S14 1/10th scale kits, exclusively.

RudeBits have introduced their new front shock tower protectors for the Serpent SRX2 and SDX4 buggies. 3-D-printed from high-quality material the add-on protectors save carpet and astroturf tracks from shock towers digging in, resulting in longer life of both the track surface and also the shock tower and upper shock caps. Neil Cragg sweeps Schumacher Indoor Masters Rd3

Round 3 of the Schumacher Indoor Off Road Masters at Worksop was held this past weekend. The race was once again a full entry with many great drivers in attendance. When the dust had settled it was Team Associated’s Neil Cragg with the win in 2WD Buggy from Schumacher driver, Ben Smith on the runner-up spot. The top 3 result was completed by Team Associated’s Tommy Hall.

Stefan Lutka sweeps Pribeta club race

The Pribeta club in Slovakia recently held their club race and it was Stefan Lutka who took a double win in both the 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes. In 2WD, where Stefan started from P2 on the grid, he took the win following some hard fights against 2nd placed Aron Karika as Varga Karoly completed the top 3 results. Over in 4WD Buggy the podium would be completed by Josef Petrik in 2nd and Varga Karoly in 3rd.
