T-Works MP10 steel centre driveshaft set

T-Works are busy adding more Kyosho Inferno MP10 released optionals to their range with the latest being a steel centre dogbone driveshaft set. It included two high-quality steel 85mm and 119mm centre driveshafts as well as heavy duty couplers for the diff input gears. Using dogbone-style driveshafts can help to free up the drivetrain under load which changes the drivetrain’s behaviour, resulting in improved steering up front and greater traction in the rear.

Ultimate Racing fuel filter & exhaust gas cooler

Modelix Racing have announced the release of the new Ultimate Racing fuel filter and exhaust gas cooler. Both feature machined and red anodised aluminium cans that offer a heatsink design for looks and functionality. While adding visual impact, the fins can also help to reduce the temperature of both the fuel and exhaust gas which can lead to better idling, as well as slightly increased power and run time. Included with the fuel filter and exhaust gas cooler, the latter is being placed into the pressure line between the exhaust pipe and fuel tank, come plastic mounting clamps for easy installation. Both accessories are available separately or as combo package.

Hiro Seiki hard-anodised aluminium screws

Coming from Hiro Seiko is their new range of hard-anodised aluminium screws. The surface treatment will offer increased corrosion and wear resistance, insulation and surface hardness, making them more robust than standard alloy hardware. The hard-anodised fasteners are available as separate sets in a range of sizes.

Pro-Line Prism SC front 2.2”/3.0” carpet tyre

Coming from Pro-Line is their new Prism SC front 2.2”/3.0” 1/10th scale short course tyre, specially developed for the use in carpet racing. The tread features tons of ultra-sharp prism shaped pins in the middle of the tyre combined with Wedge style pins on the outside for exceptional steering on small and tight carpet tracks without the edgy feel of full pin tyres. The pins on the Prism are slightly smaller than the original Pin Point rear tyre but there are many more of them, which results in faster and more consistent lap times. The Prism pins have been positioned with the knife edge pointed front to back and side to side for maximum grip and to stay sharp even as they wear down. The Prism front tyre perfectly pairs with Pro-Line’s Prism SC rear tyre for ideal carpet racing performance. The tyre is available in Z3 medium and Z4 soft carpet compounds and including blue closed cell inserts.

Arrma Outcast 6S BLX 10th Anniversary LE truck

Coming as an exclusive limited edition is Arrma’s Outcast 6S BLX 10th Anniversary ready-to-run 4WD bashing truck. The vehicle builds on the proven Outcast 6S BLX, however it features an exclusive bodyshell print scheme with the exterior surface having both matt and gloss finishes. Also part of the body package are specially produced Limited Edition decals. Exclusive clear anodised aluminium parts are used throughout to give the LE truck a unique look. The truck uses a laser-etched chassis that is only available on the vehicle and it has been styled to match the body graphics. Rounding out the package are dBoots Back-Flip multi-surface tyres as well as the waterproof BLX185 150A brushless controller, the BLX2050 brushless motor, 15kg-cm steering servo as well as a Spektrum STX2 radio system. The truck, that is issued to celebrate Arrma’s 10th anniversary, is limited to 500 pieces world wide and it will hit stores soon.

Losi 1/10 Tenacity DB Pro 4WD Desert Buggy Brushless RTR

Horizon Hobby have introduced the new Losi 1/10 Tenacity DB Pro 4WD RTR Brushless Desert Buggy. The Tenacity DB Pro builds on the proven TEN platform and includes a full metric hardware package and aluminium features. This desert buggy features all the technological advances drivers demand including the Spektrum Smart 130A brushless ESC and Spektrum Firma 4-Pole 3150KV 550 motor allowing owners to hit 80km/h with a 3-cell LiPo battery. The ESC is waterproof, completely programmable and comes pre-wired with a high-current IC5 connector. Drivers stay in control with a DX2E Active transmitter, a Spektrum AVC receiver with steering priority, and scale-to-size Falken Wildpeak MT tyres and Method wheels. Finally, the Tenacity DB has a scale-inspired Desert Buggy body along with a new wing and off-road buggy inspired wheel design that looks good in the backyard and out in the desert blasting berms. The buggy will become available in Fox Racing or Lucas Oil designs and will hit stores soon.

Performa Racing pre-glued 1/8th buggy tyres

Performa Racing have announced the release of their new pre-glued tyres for 1/8th nitro and electric buggies. First up is the Khaos tyre that was designed for loose dirt tracks with the racing line being visible, for clay, blue groove or damp tracks. Hundreds of wide rectangular lugs spaced around the carcass provide excellent forward traction and mud-slinging ability to keep the treads clear from dirt build-up.
