Samix Enduro brass lower shock mounts

Coming from Samix and made for the Element RC Enduro trail trucks are lower shock and suspension link mounts made of brass. The 4-piece set adds 43g of weight to the axle for a lower centre of gravity and improved traction, all while adding rigidity and stability thanks to eliminated flex. A black coating will prevent corrosion while adding looks.

Pro-Line Grunt 1.9” G8 rock terrain truck tyres

Pro-Line have introduced their new Grunt 1.9” G8 rock terrain truck tyres. Designed for military crawlers the tyre has been designed from the ground up to give military builds the scale looks and performance that you need to outmaneuver the enemy. Coming in at 4.4” tall by 1.4” wide the Grunt 1.9” is the perfect size for single or dually military tyre applications. The tread features alternating rows of three tread blocks that will charge through trenches and take no prisoners. The stepped sidewall not only looks scale but also adds protection from sharp jagged rocks. The Grunt 1.9” tyres are made from Pro-Line’s G8 rock crawling compound and they come in pairs including foam inserts.

Inaugural BKlassic Race – Report

Hobby Action Raceway of Chandler, Arizona held the inaugural BK Race this past weekend. Brian Kinwald was a special individual. He lived and breathed RC and at a young age, showed the world that he was not like any other racer on this planet by winning the IFMAR World Championships in Basildon, England, in 1993. That was his first WC title and in 1997, Brian went on to win it again, but this time for Team Losi Racing. With two WC titles and a ton of National titles under his belt, Brian is undoubtedly considered one of the best to hold a radio. But what is truly special about Brian Kinwald is the influence he had on young racers back then and for many decades to come. Unfortunately, the news of Brian passing earlier this year was felt throughout the entire industry.

Czech Masters Offroad Series – Announcement

The 2019/20 Czech Masters Offroad Series will kick off its new season on the 26th of October in the Sport Arena Praha in Praha, Czech Republic. The events will see the running of 2WD and 4WD Buggies, 2WD Stadium Trucks, 2WD SC Trucks as well as a Hobby class. The 7-race series will resume on the 21st of March 2020 and all details, rules and more can be found on the series‘ official website here.

Jerome Aigoin wins at Coupe de France E-Buggy race

The Coupe de France 1/8th E-Buggy race was hosted by the MRCPM club in Les Pennes-Mirabeau, France this past weekend. Jerome Aigoin would take two of the four qualifiers for the overall TQ from Yannick Aigoin in 2nd and Thomas Musso in 3rd, the later two also scored a round TQ each. After the five A-main events in it was still Xray’s Jerome Aigoin on top with Yannick Aigoin (Xray) coming in 2nd overall. Kyosho’s Rayan Medjoubi came in 3rd to round out the top 3 result.

Bornhorst dominates Sidewinder Fall Championship

Revelation Raceway of Ontario, California played host to the 2nd annual Sidewinder Fall Championship last weekend, drawing nearly 75 entries. In the Open Nitro Buggy class it was Tekno RC’s Joe Bornhorst with the overall TQ and also the win in the 30-minute A-main event, leaving behind JQRacing’s own JQ in 2nd, a lap down while Tekno RC’s Carlos Arredondo had to settle for 3rd overall, 0.8 seconds behind JQ. Over in Open E-Buggy it was again Joe Bornhorst with the overall TQ and win as 8th place qualifier, Javier Perez came in 2nd an runner-up after the qualifiers, Vince Stolo ended the day in 3rd overall.

Elias Johansson sweeps Swedish Winter Indoor Cup Rd1

The Falun RC Club hosted the opening round of the Swedish Winter Indoor Cup in 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes this past weekend. The race was booked out in minutes, making for a good and competitive turnout of drivers. In 2WD Modified Buggy it was Elias Johansson with the overall TQ from Wilhelm Skjöldebrand on the runner-up spot. In A-mains 1 and 2 it was again Elias who would hold the upper hand, taking the overall win early and with a leg to spare, leaving behind Viktor Östling in 2nd and Lukas Larsson in 3rd.
