Losi Ford Raptor Baja Rey 1/10th 4×4 RTR truck

Losi have announced the soon release of their new Ford Raptor Baja Rey 1/10th 4WD ready-to-run desert truck. Officially licensed, it comes equipped with a 3S LiPo-compatible Dynamite 3800kV brushless power system, as well as a solid rear axle, independent front suspension, and roll cage with upright shocks, so owners can tear across all types of rocky off-road terrain. They’ll do so with the full-throttle freedom of the AVC technology and just like the full scale Ford Raptor, the on-board traction control allows racers to fly across the desert, parks or parking lots at speeds in excess of 80km/h all while in complete control and completely dialled in. Modellers also get an authentic off-road racing experience with injection moulded details, light bars and two licensed trim schemes. Included with the factory-assembled truck comes the Spektrum DX2E Active radio system for glitch-free control of this beast. The truck is set for a release in April.

Leadfinger XB2 A2 Tactic body shell

Available now from Leadfinger Racing is the Tactic A2 body shell for the Xray XB2 2WD buggy. Like the A2 Tactic bodies before it, the XB2 body has an added roof vent that allows for better cooling for today’s sensitive electronics. Running cooler has it’s advantages and feeding cool air directly over the power house is a welcomed upgrade. Behind that, LFR has designed a top fin that joins into a rear swoop for added stability and increased rear down force. The combination of the two help give the XB2 a balanced and precise feel during mid corner rotation and on power exit. The all-new optional nose scoop for the XB2 has been designed specifically for the ’18 and ’19 Xray models. The scoop is designed to enhance steering and jumping capabilities to the front of the car. LFR has designed the scoop to not only be an effective advantage, but also finish off the XB2 with a much cleaner over all aggressive look. The body sold in clear, ready for paint, and including two pre-cut Tactic wings as well as stickers and window masks.
