Infinity silicone diff oils

Infinity is introducing a range of high performance silicone diff oils. Using carefully selected silicone oil, the viscosity of the range is professionally controlled during production. This ensures accuracy that gives racers a reliable source of consistency when selecting the correct oil for their desired set-up. Such high quality oil also provides more stable traction during race conditions. Available in convenient 60cc bottles, the range of nine different viscosities covers popular options between 4,000 and 20,000.

Lostallo 24h race – Report

The iconic Lostallo track in Switzerland recently saw the running of a 24h race for 1/10th electric on-road cars. The rules allowed to use both electric touring and pan cars alongside with the two both making use of 17.5T motors with the faster pan car LM class utilising a 3.00 gear ratio whereas the 4WD touring cars were run using a 4.00 gear ratio. To make up for the slight weight and speed disadvantage the touring cars allowed for quicker battery changes, in under a minute, while the average LM pitstop was at 80 seconds. This made for a level playing field in the dry track conditions. Ultimately it was Team Sitterdorf with the win after 3945 laps, taking profit of fewer pit stops, a slower speed and perfect preparation with 2017 winners, Team Insurbia, coming in 2nd only 17 laps or six minutes behind.

Bezerk P10 plus 10mm carbon fibre chassis

Bezerk RC has introduced an option chassis for the Roche P10 pan car. The chassis has 10mm added to the wheelbase to aid in high speed stability and the design supports a centrally mounted shorty battery. The pack has been lowered 2.5mm into the 3mm chassis to lower the centre of gravity to give a better change of direction while the 3mm chassis adds some stiffness over the whole chassis to give a precise feel on track. In addition the servo position has been moved over 1.5mm to better centre some servos. Like all Bezerk products the chassis can be customised to suit the driver’s needs.
