Yeah Racing M07 bearing-supported steering rack

Yeah Racing have introduced the first in a line of forthcoming upgrade parts for Tamiya’s M07 M-chassis kit in the form of a bearing-supported steering rack. The design allows for 2mm steering Ackermann adjustments and greatly reduces the excess play that is hampering the original steering. Ball bearings make for smooth steering action and the blue anodising and silver edge details add visual impact to the car.

Capricorn ONE GT 3.5cc nitro engine

Capricorn have introduced their new XRD-based ONE GT engine that as developed for the International GT class. The power plant features the same crankshaft and crankcase timing as the on-road engine but the cylinder is on a 5-port design and the engine makes use of a 7mm diameter venturi to comply with IFMAR rules. The unit also features a super-lightweight, low profile cooling head while a rear ceramic bearing can be installed upon request.

SWorkz S35-3 series 6mm alloy axle inserts

SWorkz have introduced a set of 6mm alloy axle inserts for the S35-3 series of vehicles. The parts directly replace the original plastic inserts and increase durability with the lightened 6x12x4mm ball bearing. Using the parts will also make for a more stable steering response and increased ball bearing life. The 4-piece sets fits the S35-3, S35-3E, S35-GT and S35-GTE.

WRC Racing NTX offset alloy wheel hubs

WRC Racing have introduced new offset aluminium wheel hubs for the NTX 1/10th 200mm nitro on-road car. The hubs are available in 4.5mm, 5.0mm and 5.5mm offset and hey come grey anodised and with etched markings for easy identification.

Isaacs & Parsons win at Snowbird Nationals

The 2018 edition of the iconic Snowbird Nationals electric on-road race was held in Kissimmee, Florida this past weekend and in the Touring Super Stock 17.5T A-main it was pole position holder, Sam Isaacs with the win. Eric Anderson, coming from the 5 spot on the grid, would end the race some 0.3 seconds down in 2nd while Robbie Dodge, starting from P6, snatched the final podium spot in 3rd. Over in the Touring Stock 21.5T category TQ holder Cory Parsons took home a 2.6 seconds win from Arthur Scrimo as Monti Panzica rounded out the podium result.

Maximum points haul for Coelho in Germany

Bruno Coelho has claimed maximum points at Round 2 of the Yokomo Euro Touring Series in Germany, the reigning champion converting his TQ into overall victory.  Having to settle for second behind Marc Rheinard at the season opener in Vienna, Coelho was the man to beat from the get go in Daun and duly wrapped things up with another relatively straight forward tone to tone victory in A2 helping by challenger Ronald Volker tapping out during the encounter.

Bowie Ginting wins Jakarta EP on-road Regional Rd1

The opening round of the Jakarta electric on-road regionals was held at the SIS track, North Jakarta and in the 13.5T Boosted Touring Car class. Rain in the morning put a halt to things and it would take until mid-day for the race to start. The qualifiers saw three different TQs and in the end it was Christian Mamesah who would be handed the overall pole position after a tie-break with Bowie Ginting, while Muhammad Izzah completed the top 3 for now. In the triple A-mains it was Bowie who came out fastest in A1 and A3 for the overall win while Peter Anthonijsz, coming from the 4 spot on the grid, snatched the runner-up spot after some superb performances in the mains. Muhammad Izzah would win the second main, however he only ended on P3 overall behind Bowie and Peter.

Capricorn have introduced their new Pro main chassis plate for the C803 1/8th nitro on-road car. Machined from high-quality alloy material the chassis sports an updated design with a stiffer rear section while added front cut-outs make for increased torsional flex in the front which leads to improved overall balance especially when used in combination with the Dynamic Upgrade kit.
