Raceform Lazer Jig 1/8th truggy tyre gluing jig

Raceform have introduced their latest Lazer Jig, a dedicated tyre glueing station, this time for 1/8th truggy tyres. Compact and lightweight the jig features a clincher roller that peels off the tyre bead while automatically aligning the bead after applying the glue and further rotating the tyre. When turned anticlockwise, the roller also presses the tyre towards the rim. The overall design makes for extremely convenient operation while an anti-slip under site allows for a secure stand on the pit table or workbench. The tool is machined from high-quality plexiglas, it takes all standard 1/8th truly rims and tyres and comes with a 3-piece needle applicator and decal sheet.

JConcepts 1988 Chevy Silverado extended cab MT body

JConcepts is on top of the best monster truck body styles in the business with the release of the 1988 Chevy Silverado. The 1988 styling is very clean, updated, refined and didn’t display the boxy looks from the early 80’s. The fleetside, extended cab design is spot-on featuring slight curvature to the main shape, new headlights, grille treatment and form-fitting wheel wells. The slight flare to the tire openings give just a little wrinkle to the bed-sides and front fenders to accommodate different sized tires for maximum versatility. The body includes a decal sheet that makes detailing out the headlights, taillights and grille a breeze while window mask allows the user to quickly get the body into paint. The extended cab body has an 13” wheelbase and fits retro and race monster trucks as a drop-on giving the all important clearance and functionality.

Xray XT8 ’17 1/8th scale truggy

Xray have released complete details on their all new XT8 1/8th scale truggy platform. A totally new car from its predecessor the chassis was completely redesigned to allow for updated and all-new weight distribution to improve chassis balance and stability. The major performance & handling improvement of the XT8 is the all-new weight balance that relocates weight to the front. This improves rotation of the truggy, increases cornering speed, improves handling in jumps, and offers more forgiving handling. To enable this an all-new fuel tank was designed and produced to make it super short, allowing placement (and weight) towards the front of the truggy. Every other part of the car has also received some tweaks and updates from the suspension arms, to the drive train, gear diffs, diff bulkheads, shock towers, shock absorbers and more.

RDRP XB4 brass suspension mounts

Coming from Revolution Design Racing Products are new Brass Suspension Mounts for the Xray XB4 series of buggies. Machined from black-coated brass and sporting gold-colour chamfered edges the parts weigh in at 13g (FF/RR) or 15g (FR/RF) respectively and they add valuable weight to the front or rear end of the buggy. Used in the front the added weight makes for an easier to drive car especially in high traction conditions while in the rear the increased weight leads to improved traction on low grip. Used throughout the buggy the increased mass of 56g will make for a more planted ride over ruts and bumps. All mounts are available separately, the utilise Xray’s I.S.S. suspension inserts and they can be used in either combination with the original alloy mounts.
